This is a joke …the game forces you if u wish to succeed to make alts as I did … I now have 4classes in tier 3 I’ve tried with little gold or making gold knowledge to gear these up with 2 to 4 level 3 engravings, all the free pheons which as everyone is gratefull for but just why there the biggest scam in game … I’m only mad now and writing this due to losing 40 pheons on 13 stones I’ve bought and still not hit a 6/5 on stone a very average and normal cut to hit I’d say as I’ve hit higher on other classes …games just trolled me hard for a hour after putting more money on game buying more pheons and failing on multiple 75 65 and 55 percent chances over and over now if this was just gold ok I’d stomach it and keep going but it’s not it’s pheons which is real money I mean gold is real money I’ve converted enough already I’ve deffo left the free to play section recently… pheons are cancer in this game and the only reasons I’m finding for these are garbage excuses when it’s just obviously a extra scam for ya money

And Pheons for casino stones is just pure robbery, for accessories and item I can understand, you buy 1 of them, but when you’re unlucky on stones you’re just doomed
I have to agree, stones are such a high-risk, high-reward venture, you’re better off going down the RNG route. I’m personally quite unknowledgeable about why Pheons exist, I assume as a preventative measure to prevent price wars - but someone will have to educate me here.
Pheons exist to control insane whale flipping. Get rid of those and you now have whales buying everything and literally controlling the market.
Does that change anything about what I said ? This system sucks in an environment where there are so many bots that regular methods to make gold are slower. I’m not saying they are useless, they serve a purpose, even though they don’t do it well at all.
Pheons for exemple are completely killing the small items market, it’s hard to sell items that aren’t perfect because they’re not worth purchasing since you’ll spend more on pheons than on said items.
This system isn’t good at all, and when we’re talking about the flipping targets (e.g: Igniter 3 grudge 3 Spec/crit neckless, these type of things), well, the price in Pheons is negligeable compared to the item price and potential profit.
Pheons serve a purpose, but they do it badly. And they suck, especially in our economy
Pheons would also be keeping bots in check when it comes to the market. I doubt these people botting are buying Pheons and selling gear when they can mass farm garbage for gold and then RMT. I’ve yet to see bots in T2 or T3 content, so most of these accounts are either sitting in T1 forever or getting banned before they can even make it to T2.

It’s hard to sell items that aren’t perfect because nobody wants to spend gold on an item they are going to replace. It has nothing to do with Pheons.
It would be impossible for free-to-play people to play this game if they removed Pheons.
Dude, every single item you get is going to be replaced, no matter what, this reasoning is just wrong.
I’ll give you an exemple : you can get a 3/3/1 pretty easily at lvl 1325 or 1340. BUT, even though it’s pretty cheap in gold, the pheon cost makes it not worth to buy. If the pheon tax only applied to expensive items, you could gear up alts pretty effectively for very cheap, just going for accessories that give 1 interesting engraving each and a 6/6 stone + 2 +9 imprints.
But, because the way this system is designed is extremely poor, the tax is felt more on cheap items than on expensive items. It shouldn’t be hard to understand. This system can very easily be improved
this is the dumbest posible explanation for pheons… Dude whales literally spent a lot of money in the game, do you really think pheons are stopping them? lol, its a hot item for a reason… whales buy pheons, pheons screw ppl that don’t spend a lot of money not whales.
pheon’s are a scam plain and simple, all about it is simple bad. it should be removed from game
