There’s a reason why the 1 min dps test is not the standard. Since some classes currently reach 25m+ on 1 min (18-20m 2 minute).
edit: the same top parsing summoners are showing roughly 11m 2 minute parses.
edit: paladins are around 9-10m
So the standard is 1 min parses and 7 sec parses. 2min parses is more to show the damage after some fall off. And no the dps went up it was already 12m 2 minute parses prior now they are averaging around 12-13m.
I’ve already posted plenty of proof to show that what you are saying is baseless but if you want to laugh react allow me to stop you right there. So Summoner has very little falloff when it comes to “real deal” as they call it as opposed to their scarecrow dps. Prior most of it was Maririn being CC’d and Spear’s (Gochang) outer deal + 1-2 spears hitting as opposed to all 3 on scarecrow. Now the only thing that factors is the 3rd Spear not hitting on humanoid models but why does any of this matter? It means that scarecrow dps for Summoner is the CLOSEST in the game to actual dps in raid situations. If we parse 12m on dummy we’ll end up doing very close to 12m on any raid encounter.
DPS Paladin isn’t going to do 9m dps on a boss, hell even Wardancer that is one of the more consistent classes in the game isn’t going to do 20m dps on bosses or they’d just mvp every fight but you said the same too. However Summoner has extremely little falloff so that’s the tradeoff. That’s only Hallucination btw so shows how little you even know. Spec Summoner is pushing 16m on dummies. Where’s your laugh react?

i didn’t name the thread but if i recall from what i last heard from the person who did, it’s because we’re still waiting for NA release. None of us here are complaining about numbers besides you. So it changes as things change and guess what generally people are quite happy with all of the PTR changes except for having to get an 8th annihilation like i said. I feel bad for those who loved summoner in beta and instead got sorc on launch, it has to be a much different feeling than for those waiting for classes they’ve never got their hands on scouter, reaper, etc. But I can’t imagine the salt in the wound of them announcing not only will she not be released first but they had originally planned to release Arcana before summoner.

It seems you wanted summoner or still want other class in the hope to get a “shiny special” class. And while you discovered that summoner is a high cost class (the most expensiv) it made you fall from your dreams…
Also i would point that the simple fact you focus about damages on dummy proves you have a low MMORPG knowledge… Dummy are always a global idea of what a class can do, but everytime reality is different. Anyone who did activ TC in WoW knows the differences between the simulation “patchwerk” and what class can do in real fight. And also, are able to predict what class will be strong on a specific boss…
in the end, your post just feels like full of rage against summoner and even against us for an unknown reason. Probably you were delusional about what was summoner and reality did hit you… Wish you happiness with your new dream class.
The main problem is not “getting XXX first” but having all those 5 remaining class “fast” I Want to main summoner, will probably take arcana as alt, and i can totally understand the hard wait people got for the other 3.
Those are mainly also due to the lack of honest communication, we are all in a fog, and not only for class release, This is really uncomfortable for all.
As i already said, i will continue to voice about class release untill all 22 class are in our version. And would even do it again if i feel they are waiting too much for aeromancer/femzerk (i think after those we will get classes close to KR release).
Classes are how we interact with game, with its content, and is part of our identity in game. And i find it stupid to have to wait so long for it.

Yeah she was actually the first option I picked for alpha but ofc I only got her to like level 30 max? Maybe not even so I didn’t even scratch the surface but I’m sure she’s even better at like 1370+ haha
By the way, doesnt summoners have 2 builds? Spec/crit and swift/crit? I was wondering why I barely see anyone talk about. I saw the swift version but I like my summons coming out more and to deal more damage. Im not into the whole keep spamming ur skills as a smn when you spend less time summoning ur identity summons.

I didnt play too far summoner, didnt want to farm the game before doing it “definitively” on west version. so i mainly roam and didnt went in TC.
But more than a “cheap optimised build” you can go on cheaper build just because you don’t feel the need to do all harder content… it is fine to just enjoy the game in simple way… You don’t have to do M+20 in WoW, Ultimate in FFXIV raids or t4 fractals in GW2 etc… and so you don’t need the most expensiv stuff if you don’t aim such things… So does for LA…
Just doing content where 4 line is fine is a nice cut in the cost.
