1 class every 2 to 3 months

Just doing stuff and hoarding.
Who knows If I still play when my reaper comes out

Literally just logging on to get the login rewards and logging off. I’ve got enough games I can wait for Summoner since I know my other main Artist is going to be the last class added.

Why did you steal my comment lol.

No but for real, im at ilvl 1340 and I’m just hoarding mats for when reaper comes. Its just not fun to play a place holder class till your main comes.

yeah…I haven’t logged in the whole week ether ;_;.

Sorc just wasn’t what I expected. She was Fun but not as fun as a summoner for me, maybe the male version will grasp my interest more. But for now, she will remain a good ALT for me.

More details:
During Beta, I felt like summoner did all the things a sorc did, Just more immobile lol. So far Summoner my fav mage.

Curious on how arcana will feel to me. I originally wanted to main this profession when first heard lost ark announced in Korea due to her Witch theme style of playing using tarot cards.

I wonder if the male Version will use those paper talismans (bujeok in Korean).

Now to wait until classes get released ;_;.

I’ll restart play in 1 year when Lance Master is released. Before that, shame on you AGS to force us play a class we don’t want (or not play at all as alternative) for the sake of your wallet.

I just want my Arcana and I’ll be so happy and satisfied!! I also feel other players so if they can release 3 classes at the same time in a month I think that would satisfy most players like for example: Destroyer, Arcana, and Lancemaster. I think if they do this atleast most players won’t complain as much cuz they know another 3 will be release the next month.

Please Amazon Games make this happen I’m sure everyone will be happy!

I main Arcana and im also waiting for a male Arcanist but i hope they wont change the cards maybe different type of skills from the original Arcana but I really want to play my Gambit, Hisoka, Twisted Fate and Dandy man from hellsing so I hope Lost Ark kr dont messed this up.

if they release all the classes in the spawn of two months like you said, it think that would be fine as well. They just need to not hold back these classes IMO.

As for the male Arcana, if they keep the cards that is fine as well lol. Very curious on how much the male version will change the mages though!

I mean, I’m their defense, literally everything they are doing is for the sake of their wallet… this is a business, not a charity.

If they can’t justify the cost of running this game over here by generating enough income, game goes bye bye. Shouldn’t you be supporting their endeavors to make money to sure they can keep the game going?

Some classes I’m waiting for as well, but if I gotta wait I guess I gotta wait. They gotta do what they feel they gotta do. Sadly the Lancemaster I’m after will probably be lastish.

Ye i get you. But if players stop play because they don’t want to invest hundreds/thousands hours on a class they don’t want to main, it’s bye bye anyway.
Probably the best is find a “balance” between the two things, but for sure not let people wait 6 months or 1 year (if unlucky) to get the main they want.

Classes are not an effective way to gain revenue and maintain a player base over a huge timeframe.
You will lose more than gain with this tactic.

You can make more than enough money by just focusing on the cosmetic side of the game, which has huge potential. Let’s not forget the Pay to Play aspect they have with the loot boxes and crystalline aura.

The game does not need to use Already releaseed content as a delay tactic to keep players. Korea is already planning to add more content/classes as well. No point in giving us a portion of the game.

fact for real?

Totally agree with you. They need to find the best balance for it. What that balance is, I don’t want to even pretend like I have an idea.

Also, Evilkiss, I’m not saying you’re wrong. But I can’t say you are right about that without some statistical evidence. That’s probably more on the business analysis side of things for this.

facts no fiction

I don’t feel that they need to release all the classes. I play Paladin, but I’m more looking forward for Artist. That doesn’t mean I can’t main a Paladin until Artist gets released.

I don’t see the issue here really. If none of the classes that are currently in the game entices you, then don’t play the game and come back once it has content that you enjoy. Otherwise, play the things that you actually enjoy and enjoy the game. Once the “main” class gets released, then swap main if it is that important to be able to continue to enjoy the game.

Or they can just release the content that has already been out for years.

People gotta stop doing the WOW treatment. Release the game fully not a portion of it. Stop settling for less than what they can provide or they will abuse it.

Vasteele.
League is a great example of how these cosmetics can provide a lot of revenue. The game has also Survived for years with this same system, so it has to be working for them to dish out content in the manner they are doing.
You are right, we don’t have the data to be accurate, but we can infer with the information we have now.

The issue is not everyone is like you, i and many others love this game and some of us played the RU or KR version so we already have a set main that we want to play in mind.
Amazon or SG want to use this opportunity as a marketing strategy and that alone is an issue, it’s clear what most people want at this point and if they care about their player base id listen closely

So funny people defending AGS saying that its fine they are releasing these classes so slowly. Meanwhile the actual people this involves (people who have played these classes before and love them, and have been waiting to main them) are simply not playing the game at the moment and playing other games instead. Not spending any money or time in the game apart from the daily chores until their class comes out.
Is this the monetization model AGS was going for? Players quitting daily because of AGS decisions and nothing to do with the actual game… so so sad.

Didn’t they do the same thing with RU releasing only 15 classes as well? How did they release the remaining classes over there after the fact?

Also, I’d be a lot more upset about them not releasing all the content if I had to pay for anything. I complain about games for that all the time now. Release half the game for full price, then the other half over multiple DLCs. In a free game it’s a lot less upsetting. At least to me.
