1 Year since launch, still no performance fixes caused by EAC

It’s been over a year and despite multiple reports, videos and evidence of performance issues going on since LAUNCH, the problem has never been recognized and andress.

These problems include:

  • Low Fps
  • Stutter
  • High CPU usage
  • When you exit the game it takes long time for the process to close.

These problems are surely caused by EAC since in the other versions it has been tested that with the same pc and same settings these problems are not present.

Here are some posts to give you an idea. There are others but I put the most popular.

Now, I’d like to ask @Roxx: Why does AGS continue to rely on EAC which only causes problems?

  1. is there any contractual obligation that forces AGS to use EAC?
  2. AGS doesn’t want to spend money on better anti cheats since EAC is free?
  3. AGS is lazy and doesn’t want to spend time replacing anti cheats even if they can.

Moin Zusammen,

Recently in Rowen my game stuttered every single time I attacked a mob that was tied to an active quest while I was in the open-world… It’s pathetic at this point

I noticed it too. There are many stutters on that continent.

it’s the goto choice for all the lazy publishers that just want to milk player wallets and not worry about retaining a low-spending playerbase. whales only in their eyes.

it’s actually insane how trash the performance is
