yeah balance in this game sucks, some classes are op and super easy to play, others like pistoleer require way more skill and underperform in dmg… devs cant do the job or dont care.
Mate you are comparing a class that requires hand with a headbang piano class? Dafuq? If you get better your ceiling is probably higher than DI Shadowhunter, but else you come here to complain about the devs rofl

He has a point tho reflux and demonic are about the same difgiculty but way stronger… ofcourse it should not be as strong as ew but it is very undertuned so a slight buff is needed
3 weeks into clown and after every single pug people were whispering to me about how do I do so much damage to severely outperform them more often than not, much more overgeared then me.
There’s no other class in my roster that pulls as many mvp’s, not even my EW main.
If you want help all you have to do is ask. See what people offer and go on your current defiant attitude after you decide whether there is some legitimacy in what others are telling you. But if you’re just here to vent, then you can go back and crawl to whatever hole you came out of. Shitter

You are saying your pistoleer is stronger then ew with a straight face XD even if you land 100% of your attacks you have 0% chanse too get mvp in a Guardian raid if you get mvp you are playing with bozoz… just do a parce in trixion to see your cealing… in late endgame spec scaling seems to be the issue and its already faling behind in our version. its only upside is dmg uptime but other just as easy to play classes have the same uptime but way higher cealing. There are numbers to look at for this you know
Anyone who played EW can tell you with a straight face and no discomfort that 100% uptime is impossible and trixion is worthless in this kind of discussion. You simply cannot back attack in melee at your convienience.
In fact there’s no class in the game that can compete with pistoleer’s uptime. Not even reflux or sh or whatever other swift or ranged class exist.
Even so nowhere did I claim Ew is weaker then Pistoleer. This kind of debate is just as pointless. Brel gate 4 or Clown gate 2 in 9 out of 10 pulls Pistoleer wins. Vykas gate 3 in 9 out of 10 pulls EW wins. That’s the type of discussion you want to have.
However if it’s mvp magnets we’re talking about nothing beats consistency and that’s pistoleer in a nutshell. There’s no bad encounter or matchup for it (except 2 min kunge’s that get blown up before it gets to do any damage - his weakness).
Also I’m pretty sure you use the spiral tracker/plasma bullet and the rest of the pepega build maxroll promotes so you’re gimping yourself anyway. You don’t know its ceiling
There seem to be a lot of misconceptions here about how decent pistoleers are. I don’t main it but mines parked at 1490. I think people see random tier lists and take it as gospel. Most people can’t formulate a single thought and just regurgitate garbage.
Pistoleer is probably slightly overtuned. It’s definitely a hidden gem and If one applies for one of my parties and his build isn’t inting then I’ll pretty much always take them over anything else. They’re relatively safe/mobile, consistent dps is out the ass, burst is okaaaay but that’s not their schtick anyway, and they’re just overall very reliable.
Most of the time they take upright or cruel, because while sorcs fuck up their double meteors, or EWs spend the entire fight chasing the bosses ass while they beyblade around, pistoleers will always just be pumping. Their damage (and skill) ceiling is lower than entropy/burst classes but man finding a player that’s even anywhere close to the ceiling is like finding a needle in a haystack.
People inherently just like to make fun of others. That tierlist gave them a reason. And lo and behond now this class is all of a sudden “The Meme”. At the same time it gave every pistoleer player that underperforms an excuse for why he does so.

Spec - 1500+ - Crit 495
Lost wind cliff set - Crit 7%
Gems - 6 with lvl 7s and extra lvl6s
Still hugely under-performance even in Kungelanium.
Checked both Shrieking and Entropy full set.
#Pistoleer is shit, I have other alts at lvl 1460 always MVP.

Well what makes trixion missguiding is that you have a 100% uptime witch is impossible in real raids… so high apm builds like pistoleer overperform in trixion while burst builds dont need to constantly attack to get their dmg out almost all 2 class engraves from one class is pretty close in trixion but raids still always favor burst class engravings… so if ew and pistoleer would have the exact same dmg in trixion witch they dont but if they had ew would still outperform pistoleer in a real legion raid… they issue with pistoleer is the spec scaling in late endgame… i also get mvp on kungelanium on my handgunner somtimes but all that tells me is that the rest of the group is trash…
I myself play Pistoleer, 5x3 1500. Your spec is too low, and pistoleer2 doesnt work. It’s a class that needs to play lv3 class engraving for 70% damage bonus AND must crit with max spec (because of insane crit dmg scaling, 1600 is reasonable minimum).
I’m having MVP in a lot of raids, also doing Prokel in my brel raids.
Repair your engravings and stats first, then we can talk. You built your character wrong and you are crying it doesnt work, how unlucky.
Unless you’re doing valtan at 1500 ilvl what you’re trying to say is irrelevant. Some raids have more mechs and cinematics than others, but any relevant content that is not on farm doesn’t suffer from this.
It really feels like some people shut off their brain while playing. Being a burst class doesn’t mean you don’t need to constantly attack. Who the fck said this ever?

The difference is small and is concentrated into basically one skill. Being a burst class doesn’t mean you can use your skills once every minute and doze off the rest of the fight. It’s not enough.
And Pistoleer has a much better uptime due to having more range, cleaner animations, the same mobility and by extension cares very little what the boss throws at him.
Can’t even begin to imagine how bad one needs to play this class to get the impression that he’s overperforming in trixion, but considering you also said reflux and especially DI are way stronger, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
