Ok show me the reason why you think that only 0.5% are real players. That means in all 5 regions it’s only 1k player (took 200k current players as base). And be sure with only 1k players playing this game sg/ags would have closed the servers already.
You are very smart aswell.
Yes we are maybe only 1 year old in EU/NA but we also got already content what KR got after 2-2,5years
Ah i got why you think 0,5% of players are real because you look at Ghostship
The problem is NOT the real players, the problem is the MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF BOTS, there are more than you can imagine and AGS do NOTHING to stop them.
They are selling things in market and they are destroying the economy.
I would, dad, I would. But people are bad at the game.
They still don’t know what an analog clock looks like. Yet alone how to identify a heart or no heart for Gate 1.
I am not even kidding anymore. The Kakul experience has become the worst in the game.
If my character can’t solo carry, then I can’t finish Kakul.
They removed gold cost from honing, nerfing gold = less inflation = cheaper mats/etc. so in the end you’ll be getting about the same amount of value for your gold.
The prices have increased since the patch release.
It makes sense, there are many gold sinks where the players are willing to throw their gold like quality rng and other features. Gold sink and tax are thing to surpress inflation, Gold nerf however not much effective.
A gold nerf is a flat HIT to inflation. Moreso then gold sinks or taxes. Flattening the curve of gold gain lowers the amount of gold that enters the economy thereby raising the value of gold.
You have to take their gold of the players away or stop generating gold, that would hit inflation flat hard. Reducing income doesnt affect to any players with 1500, only below 1475. It will still generate gold, which is little down than previous but that’s just temporarly.
Bots, which plays an hugh factors for Gold printing, aren’t farming Gold from the Raids commonly.
Hence, that’s a classic case, where the rich people get more benefits while the poor people get more poorer.
Bots will still generate gold because they’re still all over the place. Newer players like myself will find it harder to stay given we’re already expected to be able to drop thousands of gold on engravings alone let alone honing past 1445
You’re forgetting the market. North American Markets aren’t so friendly to certain “business practices”. I’ve been here only a few months and I’ve seen way more bots than real players to the point I usually tune them out. Even bots disappear when the real player pop drops too low to make it worth while.
I did the raids today and with all the nerfs it felt so unrewarding now. Kinda boring and not worth the time anymore. Disappointed and was hoping this would’ve came later in the year.
where are you located as a player right now? I rarely see any bots at all now. Bots barely generate gold now as they can only do nerfed oreha and nerfed argos if people bus them, and thats a really small amount of gold. That lowers the inflation by itself by a lot as you reduce the gold from thousands of bots by 60% and also they wont be able to do much unless they hit 1375 which requires argos or oreha gear (pheons or buses) the amount of bots has gone down by a lot last month. So if player income gets nerfed, and bots are not as bad as they used to as their income got nerfed, then everything will go down. Literally cuz theres less gold in the economy. Less gold injected every week from every source
Most honing mats have been going down PRIOR to these changes. Not because “gold” is abundant. It’s because players including F2P hit 1540 benchmark and there is no need for more mats.
Also not every item is going down since the nerf. Most Fusion related materials are going UP by 4x to 6x from it’s initial value. The supply from bots have been cut off,.
So if math tells you this… then it is more related to the supply and demand of items. Not because of Twitch version of inflation is happening. In fact, help yourself do your research before you talk about how inflation works. Because THAT is not how it works.
Yep, I also thought this “before” the nerf with regard of the accessory prices for bards.
They exploded suddenly and I thought, why is that?
1 earring costed a couple of weeks ago around 15-23k gold.
Now its 30k and rising.
Why is that? I’ll tell you.
Greedy 1500s have lost their mind and dont know what to earn in lower geared raids. They set fantasy prices only 1500s can afford.
In top of that lots of 1500s people have left the game. Less relic accessories come now to the market.
Its not inflation!
The higher item level are pressing us low levels out of the game!!!
They set prices as high as they “want” not “need”, “want” gold that high.
Most of the high item levels are already geared up. They dont need anything else.
But they take care the game isnt playable for low Item levels.
Oh sorry, I forgot some people like you come from Tik Tok economics academy. We all know stuff like fish and fusions are going up cuz of bots. But did u take a look at everything else? marvelous leaps are going way down this week, for example. blue crystals already dropped 300g. So yeah, things that bots supplied, will go up naturally. Which is mostly fusion mats and fish. Out of that, prices on everything else which are items that the actual player base farms, are going down already. You cant come and say that prices will rise on demand and supply with gold nerf and talk about fusion materials which we all know is what bots provided. literally everything else, leapstones, pheons, books, etc are already going down. So what about you do some research instead of saying “HEY LOOK, HE IS WRONG CUZ FUSION MATS ARE EXPENSIVE DUH”
