Dear players as some might notice, first post was deleted, no explanation. Posting for the second time a list of 230 players affected by the Valtan DC bug and 51 forum posts that I gathered IN ONLY 1 HOUR.
As everyone knows. Customer support doesn’t help. CMs only say they’ll review. It’s been 2 weeks.From a thorough read, some players even experienced VAltan DC 2 weeks in a row with no re-entry ticket and no rewards.
IS AGS PLANNING TO TAKE RESPONSABILLITY FOR A BUG AND MAKE A STATEMENT?

Issue: I was running hard mode valtan gate 2 with a group when the servers crashed at 17:17 in game and once they were finally back up and I tried to join another group to start the raid, it said that I did not have the entry count and finish Valtan.

game crashed right at the end of valtan gate 2 they waited for me to log back in before they left the raid. i was unable to collect any loot and i tried to rerun with another group it shows i havent cleared but wont let me join them in the raid says i completed it need help with this if its a bug and also if anyone could help with these random crashes.

we finished gate 1, we went out to do gate 2, but there was an error, saying that I couldn’t because I would have done the second one, but as you can see in the print, I only did the first and the second is available. but I can’t enter, it says I completed,
I DO NOT TAKE DISCONNECT, AND I WAS WITH MY FRIENDS.

My client froze and crashed with 4 health bars left on [Normal] Valtan Gate 2 ghost phase. My raid group ended up clearing the content, but when I started the game back up and loaded back in, I didn’t receive any rewards:

I reached out to Amazon’s Lost Ark support chat and was told that I would neither be able to re-enter the raid nor be eligible for the drops. I would need to wait until the weekly reset.

I didn’t feel like i needed to make another post on this since 4 other people that i know of made a support ticket about this issue (from the same party at the time).

Silence for this long doesn’t help anybody. I was able to read a German CM respond to a player today that he would not receive his lost entry ticket caused by DC because his group killed the boss while he was offline. This doesn’t help people whose whole group were DC and the boss in the instance was never killed so nobody was able to get loot but they all still lost their entry. On the right side you can see that i have not cleared Valtan gate 2, and on the bottom right side you can see that i should be able to join Valtan raids, because i should be able to join Valtan without the entrance ticket as long as i have not cleared it.

After the patch my game has been disconnecting a lot… Today around 7:30 PST I join a pub group in Valtan normal mode and he’s close to dying (9x health) I got DC. By the time I join back in, the team killed him and I wasn’t able to pickup any loot at all. My weekly legion raid drop down to 2 remaining… There’s also no refund ticket in my mailbox. I don’t know if I’m posting in the right section but can someone please help me, thank you.

Group and I were doing gate 1 of Valtan raid when we got disconnected due to maintenance. Now I cannot join/start a new valtan raid because I’ve exceeded entry count, although I haven’t completed gate 1.
Any tips?
There is ZERO indication this is the case, and apparently according to CMs because the maintenance schedule is posted on the forums you will not receive a re-entry ticket if you lose your entry to due playing until maintenance.

Last week, a bug caused many players to not be granted a re-entry ticket when disconnected by maintenance. Players are supposed to receive a re-entry ticket if disconnected when the group does not clear the instance
There was no warning this could happen in the maintenance message or announcements.
However, thankfully, @Roxx was able to confirm this issue, and had the team grant re-entry tickets to affected players.

Our party tried taking Valtan down for over 5 hours, by the end of the night all of uf disconnected, we decided to leave it for today, we made a new party and when we tried to enter the raid we got the “entry count” error and couldn’t enter… I was told that when something like that happens we should get a ticket via ingame mail to retry it but none of us got it… Are we simply gonna miss out on the new Valtan raind due to a server issue?

I was doing one valtan hard gate2 and lost connection, when i got back at the game, i didn`t have my valtan entrace back, could i get back my ticket to valtan hard?
My team and I were trying to get the Valtan down before the maintenance. But we got disconnected during the raid. After that, we got lock for the entry and did not get any ticket yet. After contacting CS, and they are saying “maintenance is not counted as crash or outage”. How come we are not able to re-entry the raid before completion and the CS make me feel it is our fault and we should be responsible for that.

I had no chance to roll for any loot or get the bonus loot chest due to server crash on Antares at roughly 01:00 CET on the 04.06.

Customer support has confirmed that when I was doing Valtan Gate 2 the game crashed on the server side so I got disconnected. this is the second week im not able to play Valtan because my Game just crashed on the first gate so im not even able to play Gate 2 atleast - the second week no gold, no loot, only frustration because now im 2 weeks behind my guildmates.
And im not the only one with this problems… like… cmon… this is tilting and makes someone rly starting to think to leave this game.
Yesterday I was doing valtan hard mode gate 1 while my game got frozen and crashed at below 8 bar HP left on the boss. While I was login back in my party killed the gate 1 boss. After I logged in I did not get any rewards and I am locked out from both gate 1 and gate 2 now. I did not get any entry ticket on my in-game mail also yet. Can I get some kind of support about my issue, please? Thank you.

There have been many threads about missing Valtan re-entry tickets.
In all of these, it appears no one has received a Gate 2 re-entry ticket. Many people believe that Gate 2 is bugged and does not grant re-entry tickets if players are disconnected from it.
This may have been confirmed by Customer Support in the following live chat reply:

I was disconnected in the middle of the raid. after I came back (my team finished the raid already), somehow I lost my entry ticket and no compensated ticket in the mail.

I only had tonight to run this and I disconnected at the end of gate one. After relogging I got the clear screen, but zero rewards. We voted to leave so that I could clear gate 1 because it wouldn’t let me continue since I didn’t actually clear gate 1 and now it’s telling me that I can’t re-enter??? I went to livechat support and the only response I got was that “It would be automatic and the have a nice day”.

I got an EAC error when I entered the Legion Commander VALTAN G1 yesterday, and it has been almost 24 hours and I haven’t been given the number of times to restore the volume. I’m not sure if this is still on the radar. If the ticketing system is automated then it obviously hasn’t issued anything for the players on the second gate just by seeing who has and who hasn’t received one.
So far, what we know is, players that have received one are either in the first gate or in a dungeon yet to receive partial rewards.
Players that have not received a ticket are ones that have cleared first gate but not the second gate of Valtan.

Today I finished Valtan HARD MODE with my friends, but at the end (last 3 bars) I disconnected from the game.
Once I came back, I spawned at the bottom of the platform, but I could walk back up somehow.

It has been over a week since the server crash last Saturday, and players like me have not been given any re-entry tickets, and have been brushed off by support.
If the game is not planning to give back the re-entry tickets, it is basic courtesy to inform the playerbase that they are not planning to do so.
Otherwise, do let players know that the game is definitely going to make right on their server crash, and what the players can expect.

My game crash mid-fight during Valtan HM. I am not certain what is the case of the crash, the game just closed. After the game crash, I was not able to log back in for a pretty long while and eventually when I did able to log on, I lost my entry. Hey, was just doing Valtan HM Gate 1 stagger check when suddenly my game froze and i had to restart the game. When i got back into raid i got no loot and “Entry Count Exceeded” message. Even in Game Menu it shows i have 2/3 legion raids completed and. I also got no “restart” ticket that i usually get when disconnected.

I mentioned this in the other thread, maybe you missed it, they aren’t silent.
Now that there have been a few threads… Gate 2 seems to be causing an extra problem for us. I do appreciate the heads up and will be letting the team know!
Appreciate the report – I know this is frustrating, we have teams working to investigate this and look for a solution now
They acknowledged that Gate 2 is broken like 2 weeks after these issues started happening, but we have no idea when they will fix it and if they will try to give compensation (Gate 2 tickets) to affected playets when they do fix it.
they wont. They just dont care about the folks that lost 2 weeks cause of that.

If you feel like that is enough for an acknowledgment for their top content to not be working for so many players., then let this forum post just be an extensive list of players affected and topics written about this particular bug.
P.S. - Also, deleting a topic, that’s calling them out for a statement, that is also at the top of the forum, shows that they don’t plan on addressing this issue. That’s why I wrote again. Bring awareness to the community,

I mean, it’s a bug, and they’ve told us “we are aware there’s a bug and the team is looking into it” fairly recently.
If they fail to give updates on the status of the fix, or fix it and don’t give compensation, that’s when it becomes an issue.

They’ve been looking into this bug since the game launched bro. I think its fair to say the community doesn’t have faith in them at this point.

Same thing happened to me, my game crashed and i didn’t manage to comeback and my party finished gate 1, i was closed out of both gates that i didn’t finish, went to amazon live chat support, was told that the ticket was sent to me but it didn’t arrive, just to be told 1.5 day later that this was just a disinformation said to me and that it’s not their fault that the game crashed and they won’t do anything about that.

Where the re-entry ticket system doesn’t work for anything. Its not like this exclusively affects Valtan. Even the t1 and t2 Abyss dungeons have this issue where if you dc on the first one, you are locked out of the second one and cannot progress. I’d say you could search to see the megathreads on that but like some of these they were deleted, cause if you read most of the posts in OP they are referring to DC’s and crashes.
Also where do they say its a bug? No where in the post you linked.

It actually works everywhere else as far as I’ve seen.
Yes, Valtan Gate 2 is specifically bugged, like Shadow_Fox said.
You get a re-entry ticket when you DC or even just leave an Abyss Dungeon, unless your party clears it.
People complaining about not getting a re-entry ticket from Abyss are normally not getting one (since they actually added the re-entry system) because their party cleared the boss after they DCed.
On gate 2.
The DCs/crashes on gate 1 got re-entry tickets, unless their group cleared it after the DC/crash.

There System is flawed an unfair and it punish legit players who trying new content. we just gotta pray that our internet connection won’t Dc on raids during pugs/guilds or hope they don’t clear boss before we re log back in.
as they cant manually refund entry ticket to anyone currently even if you provide proof etc. which is why 100s off us are affected that actually calling them out. Others don’t even use forum and probably have this issue.

This automatic ticket system does not work!. NEVER SEEN A PERSON WANTS TO WIN THIS TICKT.
ANOTHER VALTAN LOST BECAUSE OF THIS DISQUALIFIED SUPPORT TEAM.
We have to pressure smilegate for them to do something, they are destroying the game in our region!

This system works everywhere, even on valtan, but only if your party didn’t kill boss that gives rewards.
So for example if new player went to 1st abyssal dungeon on T1 for his 1st clear and his party cleared it while he was dc, then he would not get rewards, no entry ticket on mail, couldn’t go in 1st one again and wouldn’t be ale to enter 2nd one which requires you to clear the 1st one at least once.
The system takes away your entry when you enter dungeon, and gives it back when team votes to quit. So if they clear while you’re DC it’s like you entered and never quit the dungeon. You can think of Gate 1 and 2 of valtan like 2 different dungeons that you have to clear Gate 1 every week to get access to Gate 2.
And it’s not a bug. It’s just a flaw in the system that punishes players. So the best fix to the problem would be to change how the system works: every party member should get his rewards on mail together with counting it as a clear, and still have auction and possibility to buy additional rewards. Yes you’ll miss on additional rewards and auction if you dc, but it’s better than nothing. Atm you don’t even get gold for auction if they clear, which should be changed aswell. As for additional rewards they could add na option before entering or in settings to always buy or sth like that

I think you misunderstood me, I’m not pointing to a flawed system, but to a bug making people’s game to either freeze, crash, client becoming un-responsive during the Valtan raid.
I never encountered any issue with game’s client before, but since the release of Valtan patch, beside other bugs, I’ve had 2 with Valtan. One when I couldn’t enter the raid at all and had to check integrity of files and second (and my first game crash) when we almost killed the 1st boss my game froze, meanwhile everything else on pc working: wifi connected, browser working. So I had to force stop after unresponsivness.
The thing is after checking forums, I see some experience same issue. There’s definetely something with the client and has nothing to do with the players.
