I’ve been playing this game since early access, but today was the first time i’ve seen my gold be put on hold. I was doing adv tome, and rapport as part of that.
I knew buying gold with royal crystals would result in a 3 day hold, i knew using a powerpass, then grabbing rapport bonuses within 3 days would result in a 3 day hold.
Why is my gold from rapport on a 3 day hold… and how does the system even work now? Is this because of a free powerpass from almost a month ago? Or is all gold from rapport go on holds now? I read every update i could find regarding this on the official news section, and it makes no sense to me why i am being affected.
And its honestly not a big deal(only 2k gold), im just trying to understand how it works, and after hours of reading, it still doesnt make sense.

because of the bot doing chargebacks. the devs/team. put 3 day hold on rapport/una task/lost ark shop gold purchase.

Yes i knew this, as part of the announcement they said anyone using a powerpass then grabbing rapport bonuses would have holds on gold. I haven’t used powerpass in weeks. Apparently its been updated(or maybe i read or remember it wrong), i just can’t seem to locate the official page with the “new rules”
Maybe it doesn’t exist, but i was looking for it on the official news section of the forums for quite a while, and i can’t even find the original post where i learned about the situation.
there is still 3 day hold on gold purchase in lost ark shop :). even if u use your main. 
but on other hand. the one w/ free/paid passes. have 3 day hold on SHOP/UNA/RAPPORT GOLDS.
i cant even buy much gold. since it has hold. kinda pointless and pain to wait. by the time they release it. the item i wanna buy asap will be gone. 
The Powerpass had granted free gold. The gold-hold isn’t specifically about the Powerpass at all.
It affects most sources of gold aside from dungeon loot or auction house sales.
Partly to reduce chargeback fraud, partly to lessen the impact of credit card hacking/account theft, and partly to slow down bots which have farmed rapport gold since day 1.

Thank you mick437, this is exactly what i was looking for. I read like months worth of updates from the official updates on the forums, and i couldnt seem to find this one post that had the specifics.
