Hi, was wondering if the 3 day holding period is going to be removed now that you guy’s tied in a 72 hour period to people who purchased the punikka passes? The holding period is currently the biggest reason why inflation happened to the degree that it did as it is essentially not allowing the gold supply to keep up with the demand of blue crystals making it very hard for new players and accounts to have access to mari’s etc without spending $$$ and heavily rewarding the ones that decide to do so.
At this point in time it will remain in place

Sorry to ask here in such a random place but I hope that you can confirm if the chubby cow is also gonna be a purchasable pet. It’s not mentioned in the patch notes, even though they are shown in the vod. Do you have any idea?
This response is so minimal and uninformative that it offends.
How about some more information related to when and how this will end?
It has stopped me and many friends that play from spending almost entirely, the currency exchange is on fire, and real players both F2p, and paid, are upset.
Why in the world is it considered acceptable to pass the burden of fraud prevention on to the player base like this?

Inflation happened WAY before they put in the 3 day hold it has nothing to do with inflation. It changes nothing you can still buy what ever you want you just have to wait 3 days to spend it which makes no difference!
No sir, on NA East inflation correlates well with the addition of this policy and the introduction of summertime skins (I cannot speak to other regions).
That aside, please, tell me how you would buy a rare accessory for 50k gold off the AH before it was sold, if you need to swipe and have to wait three days?

Restrictions that affect players and the economy keep stacking:
- Re-enabled Powerpasses that were previously available in the store. Until September 7, a 25% discount will be available on Powerpasses. If the account’s highest Item Level is updated due to a purchased Powerpass, the account will have the following restrictions applied for 72 hours:
- Cannot receive Gold billing mail
- Cannot send mail with gold attached
- Cannot send mail with items attached
- Cannot send currency during 1:1 trade
- Cannot offer items during 1:1 trade
- Cannot purchase or register items on the market.
- Cannot purchase, bid, or register items on the Auction House
- Cannot participate in a loot auction
- Cannot purchase Crystals
- Gold earned from the Rapport system will be received as “withheld funds”, which are subject to a 3-day withholding period during which they are restricted in the following ways:
- Cannot send withheld funds through mail
- Cannot deduct from withheld funds when accepting billing mail
- Cannot use on 1:1 trades
- Cannot use in Auction House
- Cannot use in Marketplace
- Cannot use in Loot Auctions
- For the first 72 hours after using a paid Powerpass, all gold earned by trading Una’s Tokens will be received as withheld funds and subject to the 3-day withholding period.

I know I come off a bit angry about the situation, I just cannot get over it.
If I go to a restaurant and order a steak, I don’t expect the server to tell me I have to wait three days to eat, you just took my money!
I ordered screen cleaner for my monitors off amazon last night, it was delivered to my door today. I can literally get a physical product from this company faster than a digital product that should be delivered instantly.
Why aren’t they insured for for fraud instead of making the players cover their failure?

it’s easy you buy the gold and you wait for your item to show up! It’s called being prepared not waiting until the last second! That way when you see the item you want you click buy and there are no issues.
Yea, no. What you are suggesting is that I need an infinite amount of gold constantly on hand to cover any unknown price and scenario. That’s wildly unrealistic and a burden that the player base shouldn’t have to bare.
it’s totally ok if you choose to take an F2P approach to this game, what isn’t ok is contributing divisive and dismissive comments to a topic like this.
It will end when people stop buying RMT and encouraging the bots to abuse every single system in the game to make money.
AGS just doesn’t want to make it at all difficult to create a new account. So bots have infinite accounts, but at least now they don’t have instantly useful accounts and there’s a chance they could get swept away.
Believe it or not the 3 day withhold period encourages RMT. As reef stated, he doesn’t want his steak 3 days later. He want’s it now. Sadly it’s more likely someone will go on a site pay 8 dollars for 20x the amount then launder it through the game so they can’t trace it and transfer it to a legitimate account. Why? because they’d have it the same day rather than the next. Also, bot prevention mechanisms are a bit more complex than just making it harder to create an account. Yes certain verification requirements will deter the major bot corporations ,but at the end of the day custom scripts made by individual people will dominate as they won’t have sufficient path logging on those. In short botting will remain no matter what, but yes they should be focusing on cutting the majority off and fast
that change doesn’t affact bot at all man… that Screenshoot took 1 hour before MT… usually there will be only 70k count current player so 100k is bot LOL, did you guys ever think solution that not burden a player and can punish that bot .?
Wrong… you have looked on the market and know about how much your piece will cost so you know how much gold you will need. It’s like looking at a sales ad you know the price before leaving your home! The topic in itself is just uncalled for the 3 day hold is not bad you just have to learn how to prepare and be ready I think they call it “adult” or something like that
I’m on NA East. The inflation is from botting period. Thronespire + a month of botting without a ban wave. The 3 day hold may prevent chargebacks, but also hurts every legitimate player. You shouldn’t have to wait for your gold.
Why do you think RMT is so prevalent? People get 2-4x the value instantly. Until that underlying problem is fixed, we all get to suffer.
