God damn people are legit saying your ban was deserved when thousands of bans were lifted early for being false positives xd actual room temperature IQ, check yourself guys, its embarassing.
Its been claimed that there is no auto ban system, as though that somehow negates ANY POSSIBILITY of faulty bans. Do people really believe that human beings are perfect, kind, and compassionate and that every single ban is being done by someone with the utmost skill in judgement and discernment? Give me a freaking break.
People really dont understand human nature at all. Some dude being paid minimum wage who probably has a three foot long list of things to be bitter about in his life is put in charge of banning people, I guarantee you there are many cases of people banning others just for fun, for shits and giggles, or whatever other reason that has nothing to do with wrongdoing. Theres been plenty of evidence gathered in the field of psychology to show exactly what happens when you put people in charge of things like this without much oversight. Maybe they are sick of the queues themselves and they see someone with 500 hours and think “yeah this person is why I cant log in” so they ban them. I guarantee there is probably almost 0 accountability because if its people reading and banning players, they are probably going through 1000’s of tickets a day and potentially tens of thousands overall, meaning the people who are in charge of managing this cannot possibly fact check every ban for legitimacy or not.
I can easily imagine a disgruntled or bored employee just not giving a shit and spamming “ban” over and over again on all their tickets. Like what, you think the people in charge of this are all professionals being paid like 75k a year to do this? No, its minimum wage, probably poverty wage employees, possibly all in third world countries who are in charge of this.
Even if 99% of the time everything is fine, 1% of say, 100,000 tickets is still 1,000 faulty bans if being done by people individually.

Thank you for posting this. I couldn’t agree more. I want answers. This whole situation put a very bad taste in my mouth. And I have ZERO trust for AGS now. I wouldn’t say I am quitting Lost Ark over it becasue I have already invested way too much into the game to quit now but in the future If I see a game being published by AGS I dont think I will be interested. first time I have every had this happen in 20+ years of gaming. and now that i am back on the game all the real cheaters are still there and the clock timers still dont work. its a complete mess right now.
What you are literally doing right now is harassing this person, and you sir are breaking ToS so continue to walk on that thin thread. You might find yourself suspended.
Yup, @the.vic.rulz is clearly trolling, it’s best to just ignore him. I think the reason he keeps saying all that is probably because he has the mindset of a cheater whereas most of us probably dont.

Though as a side question, I know people banned in game is banned on the forums. Does it work the other way? People banned on forum is also banned in game?
It takes 18 hours to lift a false ban for speed hacking against hundreds or thousands of your most dedicated players? It takes 36 hours to even give clarification?
Sorry this will not fly. This company will not get a dollar out of me without compensation for the lost time. I will spend all my time flaming this game on every social platform. Good day AGS, I was one of Lost Ark’s biggest supporters. Now I will force the top streamers to address this issue every day.

How is a simple account suspension a tool that you are “using to fight bots” ?
I was able to create a new account within minutes. There is NO WAY real players should be hit in the crossfire when your strategy is totally ineffective against bots.
AGS is blatantly lying. This was intentional and misguided. It caused irreversible damage to the entire community as no one has confidence they can play unbanned.
To top it off, we all now know AGS will give absolutely nothing as compensation. Only the best lie they can craft in 36 hours.

I am acutally convinced he is trolling. He stopped posting after he got called out. But still writes the exact same s**t in other Posts trying to make people look bad.
everyone wasnt suspended, there was bans involve and as a person who got caught up in that im glad it was jus a suspension and not a ban i had to appeal; since loggin back in i can say i havent seen any bots spamming chat… the situation def sucked but atleast we know we dont have that strike against us and that we was falsely suspended due to bot errors. better communication and better support only thing that is needed

The real question here is… Why do they only ban speedhackers for 3 days and not permaban? Now that makes absolutely ZERO sense to me. speedhackers deserve no second chance.

None of this makes any sense. They are just trying to bullshit their way out of this.
They probably didn’t trust their system enough to deliver permabans. Maybe that’s good, because all of us would have been perma banned.
Anyway, even though I was unbanned after a day I am still angry. I couldn’t play for a day, I lost another day of Crystalline Aura (EU…), nobody said sorry and I get no compensation whatsoever. I can’t think of any other company that is worse. I really really hope SmileGate will find a new publisher.

FWIW I haven’t been banned but I know many who were unjustly banned in NW. Problem is their autobans have too many false positives and they use a 3rd party overseas support with zero power to change anything. This is why people would get multiple temp bans by coordinated mass reporting - I pray this toxic behavior doesn’t make it’s way to LA. If a guild decides they don’t like you, have multiple members submit a report and you are temp banned. Saw this happen multiple times in NW to certain players who get targeted. Even to the same player two days in a row. AGS needs to hire better support and empower them to actually fix player issues, otherwise might as well use a bot to respond.
To all the people saying “you’re guilty” just hope it doesn’t happen to you because you will never get it addressed.

Yupp, toxic trolls suddenly all gone after it is apparent we DID get banned unjustified.
I don’t wish anyone the experience, but ppl like vic wyll or arc just deserves a bit karma imo
