In Roxx’s post they say “Whelp, at least you don’t get actually penalized for this” (not the actual quote, just summarized) like having my whole day of gameplay memory holed by the support wasn’t penalizing.
I’m actually still strongly considering quitting because it’s become extremely clear how impersonal and incompetent the support staff really is for ban appeals. The lack of any real response for anything except “it was justified, you can’t reply to this” is actually insane.
Imagine if this had happened to far fewer people. I guarantee this was ONLY taken care of in a timely manner because of the amount of attention it got. The absolutely extreme lack of transparency from AGS is a giant turn off and I might really just quit because of it.
Apparently just running around is enough to trigger a ban. Will I get spam reported on islands? Will I get flagged as a gold seller for talking in Area chat?
The thing is, it wasn’t taken care of, it was automatically lifted. Moderators didn’t manually remove our bans. I spoke to a customer support person saying the exact same thing. And now forum moderators delete threads that are asking for compensations.
I managed to get unbanned 6 hours prior. There were a few others who were fortunate enough to get on earlier in the day. The whole thing was a mess though.
I am still permanently banned from playing Lost Ark for something that I got Amazon’s help to do. There are a ton of people who are in the same situation as me, and even those who are in this situation and never refunded anything at all. The CMs are sending us to Amazon Customer Service and Amazon Customer Service is sending us here.
Help us get the visibility we need to prompt a response from the CMs/Devs.
Okay I take it back I think the people who got banned were breaking the tos. Your outrage convinced me that you had to be cheating. Sorry you got caught but suck it up.

I have a feeling a lot of you people are lying and you have done something against ToS, and AGS is not saying what because they do not want to reveal it and give their opposition an advantage by knowing exactly what is happening, like how you would never reveal 1 single detail, no matter how small or irrelevant it might look, if you’re developing an anti-cheat software.
I have a feeling a lot of you guys who have been banned did something, some of you may not even realize it. One thing you might’ve done is buy founders pack keys from scam sites.
I was DM’ed by someone who is permad for “commerce lock”.
That ban is way more unjustified, since you even get a Ban on your Steamaccount which behaves just like a VAC ban. It literally makes you unable to play on vac protected servers for other steam games.
This is going on for over 2 weeks.
I really hope it will get more attention, since it’s a major fk up by AMG x1000.
Imagine getting a ban on your 17 years of service account for buying founder packs.

I think you are the one that goes by feelings over logic considering how much offense you took to my post saying a lot of people are most likely jumping on the bandwagon of some false bans to try and get their justified ban reversed as well. Why are you taking it so personally? I think any person who has some semblance of reasoning behind their thought process understands that a lot of people will be trying to use this to their advantage.
