Unlocking that would just favour people with free time and is pretty clear you need to make it healthy for both in order to keep them playing.
This would only favour one spectrum of the playerbase and directly affect the others as items price would increase even further, crystals would also increase in gold value.
You can argue people can buy the gold with real life money but how many are really going to spend their money this way? You are trying to imply p2w needs to be true if you have a work is your meaning to catch up which is literally what most people complain about how honing gave them emotional damage and made them insane so they blew up their savings.
The reason bots are flourishing is people doesnt have ways to earn gold. This kinds of people are forced to turn to the dark side to get the gold they need to hone. Giving them mats is a good event, but they still need the gold cost for honing. If you give them more ways to earn gold they they will have less reasons to buy rmt. About the inflation again, It is the botters who control the rise and fall of crystals as they have abundant gold to manipulate the market already. A few pennies gained wont change the inflation/deflation they are planning on doing.
Also people with free time can easily bypass this, It has been proven by korean streamers already. They make another account in a different server in the same region then ghost trade the items in their other server to get the gold.
Please do not defend those who willingly decide to ruin the game with this.
There is no excuse, honestly, everyone would have needed gold at a point and many didn’t do this bs. There are ways to make gold which, as in every game takes time and people don’t want that which is why they ruin the game for us.
Don’t understimate the kind of gold influx this gates control. There is a reason why it was already changed and KR didn’t have an issue with bots.
There are more then enough ways to earn gold, no one is forced to rmt… no mather how much gold we get some people will still cheat… just let this thread die now… it was a bad idea so just move on. the last thing we need is another bot thread…

The people who RMT either dont want to put in the effort or want to skip natural progression.
Yes there will be more gold from raids, etc, but all that accomplishes is more inflation.
People who plays 12-24 characters usually don’t RMT. They pay with time. Think about it, why would you have 15 characters if you do RMT? It’s pointless.
It really is the first and possibly only “touch grass” policy put in place by Smilegate.
It created such gold inflation that you essentially needed more than a dozen alts to keep up with the needed gold generation.
Meanwhile people with 3-6 characters have their gold and effort drastically reduced. It was a system where no-lifers essentially hurt the progress of other players.
The reason was because people in KR would grind 12 alts to get gold etc. The limit is to keep it minimal and make it to where its not as punishing to not play alts.
Inflating gold is definitely not the answer. Let me begin by stating that most players do not have the time to juggle six toons. Most. Those of us who can are the minority. However, the minority of us with a lot more time on our hands also have the potential to impact the game more than the players who have jobs/families/etc. This is why (rough translation: one of the reasons why) there is a control implemented in place to prevent us from going nuts with the economy.
it exist for a reason b4 this game was out in the west. i think we tend to forget on these forums this game has been out for 3 years on other regions so whatever we have is a result of something happening and they made changes.
We really need additional raw gold farming methods as the bots totally wrecked the economy. In this bot infested economy, removing the 6 character gold cap will help a lot of players. even running a t1 for 5 mins asking a friend for a carry can give you gold
Alts take so long… 25-30 minutes per character. 6 alts thats 3 hours day, and thats not even counting anything besides dungeon+una+guardian. How can people enjoy playing that many alts. Ive been playing a ton of my own alts lately and im tired of it after like 2 days.
