I can’t find an answer in the official comment so I thought I would post to ask.
If I delete a character name that is already level 10, it says it takes 60 days to clear. Is that 60 days for someone else to take the name, or 60 days if I want to remake the name?
I would ASSUME it means 60 days before someone else can use it (or why else would they lock it for 60 days?) but I don’t want to delete my name to swap servers if I’m not going to be able to get it back.

Regarding your question and based on the official post statement: “their name will be recycled for reuse after a 60 day period passes.” Meaning the name will be available for picking, to everyone on that Region after said period.

what about him? will he be able to choose the name inside of the 60 days? that part isn’t clear.
So am I allowed to pick the name again on a new character within the 60 day period? If not, why lock it for 60 days?
just create a dummy char on one server play it for a few mins then delete and try to start a char with same name on another server… likely the easiest way to confirm.
After 60 Days its free for all incl. him. Before the 60 days its locked for everybody, also for him

why patch it so it locks it automatically then? currently you can reuse char names immediately, i see no point at all to changing it so it locks it for 60 days
you cannot reuse it immediately, thats blocked from the start after lvl 10
Remove the 60-day wait if we can’t use the name again, that at a certain level if it’s instantaneous but then it won’t be anymore I don’t see any point in it, if I try a character and I don’t like it I can’t use that name even inside 2 months? please remove it
i’ve been able to reuse my names multiple times to swap classes already, i dont see the point in making me NOT be able to do that lol
How long do I have to wait?
I have deleted 3 chars (waited for 24 hours, now they are gone) but my names are still locked hours after the total deletion.
supposedly 60 days, unless the chars were under lvl 11, on which case you can remake after 30-45 seconds
I just found out the hard way.
During the Head Start I created my characters on Zinnervale. Due to the queue times I tried to move them later on to one of the brand new servers.
I waited the 24 hours deletion cooldown (for characters I spent only few minutes on) and now the names are locked for 60 days…
And as mentioned before, I can’t think of a good reason for this rule if the one that releases the name is locked out too.
So for the moment I guess my only option is to create a reminder in my calendar to reclaim them back in two months, plus I won’t be able to reclaim the Founder’s Pack before tonight 8 PM UTC (for the Founder’s Pack Redemptions bonus) on the character I wanted…
Please remove this rule, also move up the level before those kind of rules apply, level 11 can be done in less than 30 minutes…

is there a way to speed this up if asked? cuz i really dont want to wait 60 days to reuse my name. Its a very unique name, its also my twitch name and i use everywhere. No one is gonna use it. Is there a way to possibly get it opened up sooner? seems very dumb to have to wait 60days to use my own name i created!
