800k+ "players" online

GvG isn’t even a game mode for non-whales… If you want to do PvP you go to the proving ground, you don’t go get steamrolled by whales and a few really addicted people.

People that aren’t investing too much in the game are still getting to Valtan Hard Mode unless they were really lucky, so there’s no use in trying to beat some 1460+ players on GvG…

I actually feel bad for the people who discover Lost Ark by being most played on Steam and the first thing they see is 100k bots runing around in leveling zone.

I feel like this game is on the path to become exactly like Runescape. Only OG players still play and huge amount of bots drive away majority of the new players.

If Lost Ark hits 1 million players again, it will be a sight to behold

Lost Ark’s bot problem right now is actually worse than Runescape at its peak, and that will be LA’s legacy here in the west. The worst botting issue in the history of gaming.

Yeah a lot like looking into a sewer

I fear that if something drastically doesn’t change ASAP, in a few weeks all the regions will have 10k queues just like NA West and then more of the actual players will quit the game.

What makes this bots increase since the patch ? Demand for RMT
If they were to tacle this demand with ban + gold being removed, ppl would be far less willing to buy from this bots and we will see the reverse effect, no demand, bots almost out.
Yet right now, there is no sanction to RMT, just like if it was ok and ppl talk about it between guildmates, leading to entire guild being RMT cheaters ez pz, np

Relic gear and increased honing cap to +25.

Finding the will to continue to grind on my alts is already tough. Even the players going unpunished using simple chaos dungeon bots to grind item level are really demoralizing. Why should anyone continue to play legitimately when all this stuff is going on in front of our noses?

I’m pretty close to moving on myself if something isn’t done soon, and I haven’t even experienced the queue times like NAW

I definitely feel you on this. Trying to find a motivation to keep playing myself with all those problems just multiplying and also being extremely unlucky in the game (pittied 3x my weapon, also to +20) which was the last blow to me as all my savings and 2 months of 5x T3 alts grind vanished in a day.

For every person fishing at Vern port there is 10 bots fishing next to them. 800k ‘players’ divide 10% real players = 720k bots overall. Good mathsss hey.

Is there any way to complain to steam about Lost Ark falsifying player numbers, so they will actually take effective measures against bots?

800k players. Wow that’s a lot. Well off to a million! Besides that, the growth in numbers is alarming. It’s a pretty bizarre sight to behold. We might even have to summon Noah’s Ark maybe. Who knows.

Yeah we should report the game to steam. We can’t seem to create a culture of improvement within SG and AGS, but maybe they can.

I’m currently playing through 1 - 50 with a paladin just for fun and other than the very beginning, 9/10 “players” i see in the world are all following the exact same path, with the exact same gear, with the exact same class. It’s bizarre. I’ve never seen a game with such obvious botting going on.

should look at the reviews XD i posted one myself but honestly i dont think theres gunna be a single new player coming anytime soon LOL took quite a bit of scrolling to finally see a thumbs up

How about stop buying this sweet RMT gold then? I’m sure the bots will leave after that…

Accurate playerbase since last ban wave/server maintenance was 150k low and 280k high so this is quite accurate assuming a huge amount didn’t quit since then

I used to think that there’s 200-250k bots at most. How wrong was I? That number is probably closer to 400-550k right now.
