Can anyone show me the actual math people did to say that the final strike tripods only become better than the magic amplificiation and enhanced strike tripods at 85% crit? Having done the math myself final strike does the exact same average damage as magic amp at 60% crit for punishing strike and doomsday. The worst final strike tripod is on Esoteric reaction which reaches the same damage just before 70% crit. Maybe my math is wrong I don’t know, but I would like proof over hearsay.
I did find that if you add in the aditional 20% flat damage from magic amplification when you are in arcane torrent that the tripods are only equal at 85% on punishing strike and doomsday, but again it’s in arcane torrent which reflux won’t ever be in. In fact if you are in arcane torrent you are probably using igniter which gives 50% crit damage anyway which makes final strike worse even if you have 100% crit.
I was about to tell someone why someone might use keen blunt but not final strike if they were between 60% and 85% crit but when I wanted to show the math I couldn’t find any on it, just the keen blunt graph I’ve seen a million times. So I did the math myself and found something different than I was told. Am I missing something?
