Hey man I was playing 8-12 hours a day before. No where near 900 Iam at 600ish this guy is playing 16 hours a day . Thats not healthy . Where does he get energy to exercise doese he order all his food ? Does he take shower ? I want to know to be efficient xD .
This is not a no lifer it’s an addiction. He has to be a college student skipping class . And staying home all day or a NEET. (Not in Employment, Education or Training)
I just got a job but I don’t need it (inheritance). And now I see how the normal person (majority ) plays and lives . Smilegate litsenting to a dude with 900 hours is like the 1% of people mabye even less I doubt a whale plays that much.
I am not one to judge someone based on how they use their time. It’s this guys life and time, if he wants to spent 900 hours playing Lost Ark that’s his choice. Who are we to judge him? The point I was trying to make is that there’s a large number of players who are 1400+ who have a fraction of time played compared to the OP who are being gated as a result of the out crying from more casual players.
I’m still waiting for the 100% chance after the maximum amount of failures to reach 1370 too much blablabla, from the text it’s clear you are a pretty hardcore player, please let Amazon decide based on how many people have actually reached such a level instead of crying here
I think the premise of your post is faulty. Casual players are not going to know nor care about the latest endgame releases, the people complaining about the 1340-1370 grind and the early Argos release were hardcore and semi-hardcore players who, for whatever reason, were slightly behind the endgame gold rush and were annoyed about sharp the cutoff was.
In any end game rush there’s going to be winners who made it, and losers who were only slightly behind and didn’t make the cut. But rarely is this end game gold rush as sharp as it was in Lost Ark, where best in slot endgame accessories lost 80-90% of their value across the course of one week. This was further compounded by a) lvl 1340-1360 being a really incomplete content experience, b) lvl 1340 content not being very challenging, c) those first week Argos clears not really being about player skill but just about meeting the item level requirement to get through the door.
Releasing Argos ~4 weeks into the lifetime of the game, when it takes about ~3 weeks of grinding just to go from 1340 to 1370 was either a cynical move to “force” players to spend to keep up, or it was stupid. No other explanations exist. And since the game heavily timegates your progression firstly that means that trying to “catch up” even just a couple of days is extremely difficult but secondly it means they should have a pretty good idea on the rate of player progression.
You can say these players should simply not care about trying to keep up, but well they do. And considering the game released like 0 new content for 1340s alongside the Argos release and they did hype up Argos, so I do think the game was pressuring people to keep up.
But it’s done now, and I do think the materials injection helped people catch up a bit without devalueing the effort of people who did manage to get to 1370+ already (like a major honing buff may have done). But still I think there’s an argument for letting things slow down, letting strong players plateau out so that others can catch up because there are some semi-hardcore players who if faced with the prospect of being permanently behind with no opportunity to catch up will simply quit. Having some catch up chances can resolve that.
So was staying true to the game yet we got nerfed resources and less gold so are you just an ignorant clown or you already know this and you choose to ignore information that doesn’t support your point of view?
OP, you play games for 15-20 hours a day and steal money from a company. You don’t work from home. All that work you aren’t doing has to be picked up by your coworkers. If they don’t hate you, they should. You’re a weight to be carried.
I agree with your first statement. If only whales got to do content, then there’s not much point for free to plays like us to play the game right?
To address your second concern, a lot of the statements I make are either prefaced with “I think” which in itself is an expression of opinion or I reference that there’s a community/official release post out there with the actual statement. I can give the reasoning behind why I think certain things, but it’s pretty late over here so I’m just going to bed.
