Of course there is no problem. I just wanted to know why you would stop yourself in progressing. If your friends want Valtan and are coming back to Valtan, shouldn’t you continue gearing so when inevitably Valtan does come out, you are at ilvl to do so?

Well, back to the original post at hand…I agree that they shouldn’t delay content, but I do think there’s one thing you have to be careful of OP, and that’s the assumption the content release pacing should be around you or other whale/hardcare players. Amazon already mentioned they’ve looked at metrics a ton. Whether you believe it or not, they seem to have a better pulse after Argos on player progression. Speaking as someone who just hit 1370 off the last reset (FINALLY!), I don’t think the content should revolve around me and personally, I’d release Valtan either at the end of this month or beginning or next month, even tho I know I wouldn’t be ready. I am working on getting my alts setup tho. I have 3 alts and working on making lancemaster and destroyer my 5th and 6th alts when they release. But enough of me, my point is, they should release content when they feel a decent portion of the community would be ready. What’s a decent amount? I’d say between 10-20% of the playerbase. Anything less than 10% is gonna be another Argos situation which no one wants. More than 20% is too slow imo.

If they enjoy it, then that’s good enough. You don’t even need any other reason. If you are happy dancing in Punika or something, that’s fine too. And they did say not all 900 hours are actively playing.
That said, we need more end game content! Valtan where? Oh in mid/late May. woooo

You have to realize, the majority of players or whatever threshold they decide is worth more than a guy like you rn. You are not the majority and a niche. They can pretty much guarantee you’ll stick with this game no matter what. I understand you had to get your frustration out with this post, but realistically, you’ll log in less and less for the next 2 months, but then be right back at it when the new content arrives. It’s really not a big deal for them lol.

I agree do not delay the content. Just give the playerbase set notice it is coming. They said May it is coming. That is over a months notice. No matter when they drop it the casuals will cry they are making us swipe. In note am 1355 and been hard locked there for about 2 weeks. I play pretty casual. At 350 hours. I know I will not hit 1415 by may. But I do not want the content delayed.

It’s kinda possible. I had similar discussion with another player today. He was 960h with 7 alts, alts are there just for the Una’s dailies for silver, buying out every travelling merchant and farming rapport items at resets. The question is, is it worth it to rush it?
