Kanima is f2p right? I mean idk i don’t watch him but he said he was f2p. And he doesn’t bus, but he said he’ll be ready for akkan. So what’s the issue?

There will be a very few player who will still play this game when Akkan will be released in our version. Most of the player will stop playing around 1500.
As you said, you cant keep up as a F2P player. But we will see it after 1-2 year.
Why? Where is the data or the report stating that? How many korean players said that?
And why Fomo?
Thats a fact, not an opinion. Its the same with almost every free MMO especially if its Korean or Chinese.
If you are F2P player you need to put tremendously time in the game to keep up with gold, gear, consumable to be ready day 1 with every bigger content patch or for the current content.
And stop with this FOMO shit. Its a cringe forum trend to say FOMO for every little thing…
fear of missing out… how else would you call everyone talking about beeing ready day 1? Should i call that elitist trend?
Its like in every MMO 99,9999% of players won’t win or participate in the world first race. Thats not an opinion, its a fact… cause i stated it!

No, its a normal feeling that if the game get a new content you want to do it day 1.
Not like you started the game 2 days ago and now endgame get a new content. Its you play the game for a long time but you are kinda timegated by gold, pheon, bad luck etc. You are not fomo because you fear that you will miss something, you just cant do more as a F2P player.
P2W players just swipe and have an easier life in the game because they can skip these timegate. Thats all. Most of the players are trying to be F2P. Maybe they buy skins etc but they dont convert it to gold with real money.
is there like a single mmorpg that releases an expansion and the end game content of that is able to be accessed and beaten day one?
Everquest for example would sometimes require weeks or months of keying content to get to end game. Why do you think we should all be geared for something that is 6-8 months out today?
Most people have already left this game because of boring daily activity before that raid is here
Than thats the problem of the player and his view or ideals regarding gaming. I guess we will see… The same shit was said about argos, about the legion raids… Some people STILL call 1460+ whale gs.
Lost Ark is one of the most f2p friendly mmos i’ve ever seen, by far.
Than leave and look for a mmo that has better daily activities, jesus the crying about repetitiveness

It’s just like how many people NA/EU/SA park their mains at 1475, knowing the clown will have entry ilvl 1475.
But imagine AGS comes last minute and says clown is 1490. Then of course people will be angry about it.
The KR players expected the hard mode to be 1580/1590 and now Smilegate says it’s 1600. So they just were not prepared and wished the announcement would have come earlier, with more time to prepare
btw streamers will easily tap a few more times and do hard mode on day1 if they want to
Dont try to compare Lost Ark new content patch aka Legion Raids with other MMORPG expansions.
Because usually for example in WoW you need to leveling, gear again because everything is new in the expansion. In LA you can be ready day 1 and do the new Legion Raid.
Absolutely. I dont really convert shop items to gold and I was ready day 1 with Vykas and I will be ready day 1 with Kakul. The alt gearing is a different story. I can gear 1-2 alt but thats all. Pheon is expensive and I still need at least ~100k gold for my main 5x3 build.
if you watched other streams carefully, you would know that people were mad because they thought that akkan will be 1590 raid so people parked their main on 1590 and either took a break or worked on alts. if they announced it earlier that akkan would be 1600 raid, nobody would be mad. and you shouldn’t be worry about what is happening in other regions
The level of anxiety required to NEED to be HM ready at content launch probably causes lots of other issues in life.

Same, sitting at 1472,5 to still take that argos gold but the mats are stacking higher and higher.
Yeah its not easy to equip alts but if you take your time it probably will happen. Lets not forget that we are doing all that stuff where KR had years. To expect every alt to be perfectly equipped is just not possible, but also not necessary.
You can if you make the game your job, but i’ve already got one so i take my time

The difference between KR server and our servers is that we know beforehand the necessary ilvl to access raids and stuff.
We have f2p ready for brelshaza and we don’t even have clown yet, now that we know that Akkan is 1600 people will focus their mains to this point instead of focusing on their alts.
I believe we will be fine.
