A friend of mine just got permbanned for playing the game

I would like for you to provide any proof that any of their bans are actually warranted, see how that doesn’t quite work out as an argument?

You have to prove the company is wrong. The company and me don’t have to prove anything to you. You are just assuming people never do anything malicious. They absolutely do. How do you dump all of your mats into T1 and T2 progress in 2 weeks while having most of your playtime be in mokoko seeds and progression, yet somehow still have the mats to do 27 more Ilvl the day after hitting T3? Do you understand how insane that is? Even if you succeeded every single roll you wouldn’t get there because the mats aren’t there naturally. That is 54 successes in 24 hours, how can you defend that???

I can defend that because I literally did it myself for an alt, and if my friend was trying to level in the game I’d do it for him too, I’d throw him all my mats.

Crazy for you to assume nobody could’ve been helping him that isn’t a gold seller?

And no I don’t have to prove the company is wrong, nobody should be guilty until proven innocent, YOU and the company would have to provide evidence he’s guilty in any normal situation, but go ahead and keep sucking their toes maybe they’ll give you a free powerpass.

FOR AN ALT, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A MAIN ACCOUNT!!! I am very much saying there is no shot he did it legitimately. He had his chance to be proven innocent, they declined him. How bold of you to assume that it wasn’t looked into.

Again, you’re assuming he got no help from friends, which he absolutely could have. Neither of us know the full situation so you literally can NOT prove he’s guilty.

I don’t have to prove hes guilty, the company did that by banning him. I don’t just believe random people on the internet looking for their 2 seconds of fame and sympathy for their ban. He got banned cause he cheated, you can read it in the screenshot if you need to one more time.

And that’s on you for assuming companies don’t automatically ban with bots, and give out bot responses to support.

That screenshot doesn’t tell me ANYTHING other than that’s why he was auto banned by a bot, and the bot support gave the automated bot response to it.

If you don’t question anything like that that’s your issue, but I’m sure whenever it happens to you you’ll be on a different side.

It is bold of you to assume it wasn’t looked into considering they are legally required to look into all appeals.

??? No they literally aren’t, if you think any company looks into an appeal on the first message you send you’re mad.

Have you not seen any videos on youtube and how many times it takes to get a false ban reversed? (not to mention that’s for BIG creators, the little ones likely are sol)

Yes they absolutely are, or the system wouldn’t exist in the first place. You clearly don’t know enough about what companies are required to do to even have this conversation. But its ok, you can keep your tinfoil hat that AGS is out to get people, and mercilessly bans people for no reason and then refuses to unban them with no actual appeal process.

going to block and move on, hope ags hires you soon!

If your friend is innocent I wish him luck getting it reversed

Yes because AGS Has such a fantastic track record when it comes to banning players.

that would be great if that simple, apparently its not.

Ok short explanation how this works.
You make an automatic ban system you don’t know the false positive rate of but you consider it being ok.
False positives being handled by support. Support are underpaid people that sit there having way too much work for too short amount of time and ontop most likely are paid by cases closed instead of hours worked.
What you think happens next?

my friend playing the bot class with rainbow stats, no stronghold levels, and no guild that’s on its own separate steam account got banned by the bot detection

weird, wonder how that happened, the only way it would be more of a coincidence is if they really enjoyed doing endless chaos

Assuming it’s a false positive, you need to keep sending messages until you get a real person or you get blocked from sending in tickets. Everyone’s worst nightmare is needing to contact AGS support for anything at all.

They should send the proof that he cheated, not the opposite…
This is insane, I think they don’t know at all, he got flagged automatically and support won’t bother looking into things…

Isn’t ark pass still a thing?

Every ban should provide a reason to why you got banned. If it’s botting, it should say botting, not cheating. Cheating can mean litterally anything, and a innocent person will never know what “cheating” is, and therefore can’t provide whatever they need to provide to appeal. A cheater will know what he did, even if it says “cheating”, and won’t bother to appeal unless he knows that he can get away with it. (Like RMT)

There has been countless of false bans in games, and amazon is no different, if not worse with their automatic system which they keep saying is checked by real people but is obviously not true at all.
