The fact that it keeps coming up despite continued censorship of the dissidents is very clear evidence that this is not a minority issue. The fact that you dismiss it is way more irrelevant. I’ve been here a while reading about it. I always see new people on the anti-censorship side. The white knighting has continued to be the same people. i wrote that previously in the thread that most people complaining about censorship never played the beta or played passed level 30.
But I would think the most important subject for you would be overall PvP changes and balance. Since if you want people to PvP with that would be the thing that keeps people playing or not, thats all I am saying.
I want the game to survive and not become RU.

White knighting lmao, ill be posting against amazon if they change endgame outfits/skins, but we already got an answer regarding this, you wont get more, so i dont feel the need to spam to make them change starting outfits that are 100% irrelevant to me, some clearly do, so you do you i guess but they are pretty clear on their stance after they gave their official response, keep posting until february 8 i guess until they change starting outfits and skin tones, happy new year.
This is up to AGS, not us. We all want this. These changes were not asked for by anyone. The game would have literally exploded here if it was only translated and localized. I understand your worry, but you are barking up the wrong tree.
They won’t change starting outfits (or skin tones) for sure.
But the uproar may be enough to make them reconsider doing so in the future. Because they won’t change opinion on these doesn’t mean they won’t ever listen to any feedback.

Indeed. I think the people that come to dismiss / minimize / make fun of the people here are only bumping the thread and adding much, much more activity.
It’s amazing that Amazon thought they could import a K-mmo, censor outfits, and be fine.

As I said, I think that is a bit over dramatic calling it “paint skills” when actually they don’t did a bad job at all. It isn’t perfect but it isn’t that bad either.
Whatever comes, in one month we will finally be playing and, hopefully, having a blast. No one here wants the game to flop. And even if the changes are affecting my hype levels negatively, the closer the 8th is the more excited and pumped I am to play. And we still have the January post ahead of us which will hopefully address this mess.

Harry, It’s just the appareance that those medias give to you. Steam and Forums allows you to bump up the same thread over and over and thats cause to you this sensation of relevance. Also, is very easy create an account and do spam of the same topic over and over again because it’s barely moderated.
However, if you actually see the thread you quickly realices that there are just a few folks writting over and over again.
You cannot see the issue in sources like Reddit because:

The mods actually do their job there so there is no spam and 100 threads about the same topic at the same time.

No it is not, you need to have your steam account linked to you account here in order to post under game feedback. And you need to own one of the packs. The hundreds of different posters aren’t three guys posting on alts. Rent free.
Only reason reddit isn’t flooded is because the mods delete and silence all these threads immediately to shill for Amazon.
13k likes on asmons coverage with hundreds of comments against this, and the near hundred of leveled up steam accounts that came to the steam forum to post against this entirely debunk you. I told you on steam, I will repeat it here. Stop trying to downplay the problem. Its laughable. You are free to not care, but not to demean the concerns of the evident online majority.
This is also not true. Yes, there are like 20 frequent posters in this thread (many others on steam), but there are also many others against it who post like once or twice only. They are still against it. Others get banned and their posts deleted.
At least be realistic about this while not caring and defending it, then your words would carry some weight. For as long as you are blatantly wrong, they do not.

I was thinking about buying the platinum founders pack but not anymore because of these changes. Does that count? I’m not going to toss all that money behind a censored M-rated game. Isn’t that a contradiction?

This won’t kill lost ark on its own. It’s one of many things among PvE and GvG P2W mechanics that will turn some people off to the game when combined together. It’s a great game and its incredibly F2P friendly for a F2P game. Especially for those doing ranked PvP. It’s a decent game for people soloing as well as grouping.
You understand that the fate of games today are usually decided in the first weeks or if lucky first couple of months right?
Despite New World having one of the best cores to an MMO to date, they have made so many unique decisions that hurt the game that its not able to recover despite having a pretty cool winter update and so many added features…they were just “held onto” for too long in this world and it just moves too fast nowadays.
That’s their job. It’s to put out flames, not address why the flames happened or how to stop flames from starting in the first place.
