You don’t make 500K f2p to pay it for a bus run. You buy it, bezos shop or chang shop. Simple.
Ones who are capable of making 500K f2p spare money are carry sellers over a long period of time, given they need to raise up a strong roster worth of millions in gold to generate that amount of gold to spare.
Nah see he’s a “world class” legends of runeterra player which 100% translates to this game, he’s just a pro at every game he touches so he naturally got everything through legit means, I mean I don’t have 1 lvl 10 gem but he had nearly a whole page full of lvl 8 gems back in april supposedly.
Man some people here need to start teaching Mental Gymnastics 101 at their local community colleges because damn they’re talented.
This is so underlooked… no legit player that needs a bus has 500k to spend on a bus. If you have that kind of money (legitly) it’s most likely because you’re talented and bus a lot, if you bus a lot you’re not paying 500k for a bus.
How do you think that was generated so early into the games life? I don’t know anyone who’s legit playing earning up like a million gold and then using that to buy a pet or a mount. On the other hand Johnny Spendsalot with his bag of money can just purchase a large amount of gold for cash, since he didn’t spend any time earning that he’ll blow it on whatever and would likely spend it on a mount or a pet because he can just buy more.
Wasn’t early at that point, if you stockpiled early based on knowledge from RU/KR you could have sold for something like 10,000% profit before Valtan released. Could also make a pretty good amount out of gem flipping. You might have seen people post their various six figure successes.
Yeah I’ve sure seen a lot of tier 1 gems for 100,000 +… they’re just good flippers I guess… Tricking newbies who can’t have that amount of gold into buying them. Nah I know, the bots have so much gold they figure why bother selling it, when we can inflate the market and purchase Joe Nobody’s overpriced gems. Please try to come up with some more excuses.
Yeah, do you really believe that players going into Argos and Valtan preferred to spend their hard earned pre knowledge gold or bought gold to buy mounts and pets at insane prices instead of honing or getting their character ready for raid?
This is like “Do you really believe people invested their money rather than immediately spend it?”. Yeah, I do. I did that. It’s why I got so far on $0. The profits went into paying for my raid gear and books.
Sweet, and how many characters in your roster were you able to have ready for Argos and Valtan carry by this method?
and given your previous stated history by you, you were able to make hundreds of thousands of gold from these transactions and STILL fall behind in gear progression rendering you failing to catch up. i.e. only way is to be ahead multiple characters roster wise (able to do carries) is to spend tons of real money on top, and again this gold could be legit or RMT. In the case of the streamer, it is possible that it is of RMT origin, we’re talking millions of gold to build such a roster.
You know what’s funny. We tried talking about this months ago. But nothing was addressed.
What myself and many others have done was at first try to send RMT gold to Asmongold to see if he’d get banned, or if he’s whitelisted. But he didn’t stream consistently enough. So then we went after a lot of unknown streamers, random players, whoever else. We had a massive amount of gold sent to all of them, and then massively reported them, nothing seemed to happen then we thought lets see if we can initiate a “3 day” ban on them, So we continued to send more and all we had to do was chargeback so we didn’t lose a single dime at all. Then all of a sudden many players now started receiving bans.
The amount of us who did this is a very large sum, and them not being able to do anything but ban players was amusing to me, as it just goes to show you their service is the same as it was on New World, as it is on here.
I didn’t fall behind, I stuck around to see if “Legion raids saved the game!” (spoiler: no) then bailed. Gold’s invested so I can come back if a miracle occurs and it has some sort of No Man’s Sky redemption arc.
I don’t know why some players in here think 500,000 is some unreachable numbers. It is entirely possible to do this, with a 6 roster sitting at 1370 or 1400 you can at least make 30k each week in Raid gold alone, not counting selling all materials
I know some took big advantages while the material prices were out of control back then and they stocked up banks in gold and turned around and spent may be a fraction of that to complete their 6-man roster.
My entire point was that it’s not the job of player or bus seller to determine the legitimacy of the gold - regardless of how suspecting it is. If someone is willing to pay, then the fault isn’t on the person accepting that, it’s the job of AGS/SG.
Believe it or not, but when a whale decide to hone or cutting a stone, you might as well claim that’s RMT gold because the fluctuation is crazy (50g stone can instantly go up to 500-1000g for example)
Nah it’s not but that is irrelevant, enjoy the bans moderation team won’t change, so we just keep getting more players banned as I said in post above. Maybe when enough get banned will make a difference.
Though now with what’s been going on people don’t accept as often. Funny how all the others had to be the test subject and get these bans for others to be hesitant on receiving gold.
Perfect, then am sure when you have a roster of 6 characters or more, 11 in the case of the streamer, RNG will fall within norm range overall, meaning if lucky on some characters, it won’t be on others.
My question that you didn’t answer was, you were 1460 on main, what about your other characters levels? how many you had Argos/Valtan carry ready?
