Hello friends! Today i want to talk to you new players about a main topic that is going on everywhere. You wonder why people are mad at you ingame constantly? even in guardians? This might not apply to everyone but recently i’ve seen this kind of players between 10-15 a day at guardians and not only.
So in order to not be flamed, hated , and maybe even warned and kicked, or gatekeeped , there are certain things that you can learn.
Use the proper utlity items (grenades, pheromones, flare etc.) Kungelanium needs 1 flare 2 pheromons and 1 corrosive. Guides can be found on youtube. Kaleligos same but destrouction instead of corrosive.
Get a proper build. There is no excuse in the world to have 1 or 2 engravings when they lowered the ammount of pheons per item, and legendary acc are getting cheaper and cheaper every day. EX: dont be like this guy
You may say, "but i don’t know how or what to buy to get a better build. Well i will offer my own time to help all the new players that reach me out help them get a build and teach them how to build their own character properly and cheap. Add me up on discord DrunkMalfurion#1587
Don’t be cheap with potions, more u die longer it takes the raid or guardian, longer it takes less gold or materials x hour you do so you’re not saving money by not potting but u lose more.
You finished ur nades and pots? 25 Blue crystals which u can get with gold can get you 50 medium (blue) pots which right now is somewhere around 800-900 g still much much cheaper than market or crafting. (math was made but u can calculate too)

New players don’t have the gold to get decent gear AND also to level up. Not to mention cards and gems. That is not their fault… that is the game’s fault for not providing basics for new players.
The engraving system is very unfriendly giving the small chance of actually getting a decent item.
Secondly… the picture is not of a “new player” since he has 121 roster level.
this is the major problem, if you just started recently at most you’d have 2 characters maybe 3 in t3? the old powerpass if you got that before it expired would net you your second or third. But even then these guys are getting what? a max of ~12k per week for raids and like 5k for Una’s? At best these guys can afford 1 decent accessory per week and even then if they’re in SA or NAW good luck with even that as you’ll need to tack on an additional 4000 just for the pheons for said accessories. As the current event won’t provide enough by itself. Without a lucky drop new players definitely do struggle to bring characters up.
However, once they get a character or 2 going the account will definitely start to snowball. Ideally all new players would make a support meaning they can cheap out a bit and not have to worry about gatekeeping they can get their account rolling very quickly. It’ll still take a couple months but it’s nothing like having to run a bunch of DPS.
1 oreha gives you 2100 gold, one argos gives you 2700 g, with 1 week, you can get 4800 gold, with 4800 gold and pheons you can get a more than decent build, and at begining you recieve a lot of pheons, plus many have at least 100 from the new year gift. I still don;t see the excuse
i personaly made to a friend fo mine 30 rooster did oreha and argos made 4k gold, he had 130 pheons from new year + event shop, made him a remaining energy build 4x3 no negative 1400 spec 400 crit with 3k gold , what are you talking about?
yeah , the one in cause is actually even worse, but yeah . The ideea of the post is that you can get good buiulds 4x3 with a week worth of gold from oreha and argos.
You do realize that 4K gold gets you nowhere as a new player? And again I have to remind you that the game has to do much better to balance and create fair starting content for new players. At this point it is not possible because of bots that multiply by thousands every hour.
Just a wild thought, if you’re not sure what to do in game, maybe don’t rush it to get to “end content” and proceed to absolutely ruin everyone dailies. Take your time to learn the game, it’s not a race, no one said you have to be Akkan ready week 4 of playing. I’m having loads of troubles even finishing Vykas cus everyone who took busses for the title is just clueless when it comes to the raid and i end up spending a large portion of my time just trying to find people that actually recleared before. Just do learning parties, with plenty of new players , pretty sure you can gather 8 people to learn a raid, just don’t go around with el cheapo builds and 0 knowledge of the game
It IS their fault. gems and cards are endgame not basic stuff. 3x3 or 4x3 are cheap AF, but easier to be oblivious and then crying for being rejected.
That’s an invalid excuse, since internet is full of guides and stuff about lost ark. People are just too lazy to do some research on their own - typical FB generation.
and i see lots of new players doing yoho mm with 1x3 class engraving and x1 other general engraving, that dmg isnt good enough esp if u are around 1370, guardian raids are considered daily farm content ingame, these engravings dont work, even if u are a bard with only 1x3 desperate salvation, its still bad.
