I can’t pick up the bucket again (Q - does attack) I threw away. Nor can I cancel the quest.

I so sorry for the issue you are experimenting with this quest.
I would like to know if you have done these steps before in other to do and complete the quest and try to re-do it.
- Make sure you’re interacting with the correct NPC and have completed all quest requirements.
- Double check your Quest Journal to see if the quest can be completed from the menu.
- From the Quest Journal, attempt to Abandon and restart the quest.
Also try to the close the game and check the game files integrity with these steps.
If you have done this and you still can complete the quest cause of the bucket, please contact our live chat support to make a ticket to report this bug to the devs team.

Yes, i have a similar problem. I can’t throw the Bucket at the Fire.
you just a have to press Q again … instead of left mouse click
