I can’t seem to progress through this quest. I am stuck in Nebelhorn, where the quest asks me to “continue following them to the north”. I have seen videos and guides where people show that the location is actually outside of the area it shows, but that doesn’t work for me either. I’ve pretty much searched everywhere at least 10 times already, but can’t find the npc.
Anyone else having this issue or anyone knows how to solve it? As i said i went up north outside the circle where people find the npc in guide videos but it’s not there for me.

Came to the internet to look for a guide since I’ve thrown a Magick detector everywhere, but alas I’ve come to the same conclusion since this just happened for you too.
Quest is bugged. I’m stuck at the same “Continue following them to the North” part of the quest, and can’t get the guy under the waterfall to appear.
Sadge. We are not getting a fix anytime soon i guess?
So I tried to go back again and do it and there were other people there that seemed to be interacting with it. Looks like its just us so far. I was throwing my bombs in the same place and saw them do the rest of the parts of the quest. I even tried abandoning the quest and doing it again, but same results. You wouldn’t happen to be a paladin and it’s class based? Anyways I’ll try submitting a ticket.

I am a Deadeye. Same happened to me as well, i was seeing other people come and go, finish the quest with no problem. But i saw a comment on a YT video of this quest which says quite some people have this bug, so pretty sure it’s not just us. But we’re still minority i think.
So I just found it on my own after experiencing the same issue. I saw the videos online and they didn’t work. So I started from the center and just kept throwing up north TOWARDS the waterfall. Eventually near some bones and bushes it worked

This has already helped so many people, thank you so much! Went back to try this and another poor soul was there throwing it at the same spot over and over so I was able to help them too.
