I literally cant understand how you can make a point even more moot if you re using even more words. Let me try one last time before calling it quits due to mental fanboi unability.

It doesnt matter if it drags you till endgame or not, doesnt matter if it s 9 or 90 pheons, it doesnt matter at all.

The POINT is that pheons shouldnt even exists. The “fake” excuse for their utility can and could have been set up in a gazilion different other ways.

It s fine to spend a lot of gold for stones.
It s fine to tax sellers for a % of sale price, which happens already.
It s NOT fine adding a currency purposedly made to let you spend.

You could literally just ask a pheon x stone, and despite the fact that it would be ok and bearable, it would still be wrong.
You re talking BS for the simple fact that the very fundation of everything you state is that "pheons ate NEEDED, pheons are helpful, pheons arent monetization but regulations.

Thats precisely why whatever you say cant be any different from complete nonesense.

Pheons/stones talk is there to point out that
1)pheons are already trash by themselves
2) pheons combined with rng items are pure evil.

Pheons are literally the smartest thing the company has ever implemented.

From a business standpoint, every player needs to gear up so every player needs pheons.
This stimulates the exchange and incentivize whales to exchange for legit gold from f2p players who want to spend gold on the shop via hard work.

it’s a mutual system where ALL sides profit.

Just take the pheons tax and put it on top of the final stone price, so if it’s 500g for the stone then 9 pheons is essentially only 700g extra. 1.2k gold for the stone ez.

1.2k gold for a chance at rng roll for BIS stone that can do all content per attempt is not unreasonable.

Just take the L it’s here to stay.

Honestly it s pretty sad all the mmos you know or have played are the hugely predatory and pay2win ones. It s you having missed out the best mmo era of all times, not me.

To reply you one last time:

1- you keep talking about pheons as a tax. THEY ARE NOT.

Taxes are a % of revenue not paid, usually needed and taken to cover for “services” deriving from a sale. Ofc, said taxes will always be proportional to how much something costs.
You wouldnt ever ask the same amount of money as tax to two people purchasing two cars, one being a tesla and the other one being a toyota. None in the right state of mind would ever accept that in real life.

What do pheons do in lost ark tho? EXACTLY that. Doesnt matter if a stone or jewel are bad, average, or top tier, you will always pay a set amount of pheons.

Hence, they are not a TAX.

2- as consequence, pheons not only arent needed and are scummy, they also hugely contribute to stale market. The more the game progresses, the more they will be BAD for auction house.

A quick example: i dropped an awakening 5 expert 3 malus -1 swiftness relic ring from valtan, being one of the bis for any paladin. Quality is just 48 tho. It s being hard to sell it.

Wanna guess why? People arent gonna spend 25 pheons for something not top notch, doesnt matter if it s bis for them. They d rather wait till they can buy the same ring costibg 5 times more at 90+ quality.

This contributes to devalue even further items in general, as pheons are a huge factor “discriminating” players choiches, factually from relic up making any great drop pointless unless it s top notch.
With more and more pieces piling up unsold, prices will eventually drop to silly low amounts, so far that even the almost perfect quality pieces will rapidly fall in price.
All cause you decided you wanted that extra buck from people.

As for the rest of what you say, thats even more pointless thab your pheon talk. You just need validation so badly you keep patting yourself on the shoulder while having a happy hand time looking at yourself at the mirror.

I’ve literally never bought pheons I’ve been playing since launch my main is 1460 and have 3 more t3 Alts and 4 T2 and still have 160 pheons

It’s why both LA and Diablo Immortal aren’t licensed in two nations of Europe. Let’s hope that spreads, because this garbage needs to be regulated. At the very least this needs to be taxed.

If the items can be obtained via gold in auction house there is no issue.

People want shit handed to them instead of working for it.

If you don’t want to work for the gold to afford skins then you don’t need it so it’s a non issue.

Im bad? I already have secured 5/6 of my relic accessories and waiting the stone roll to see if i need a 5/3 or a 4/3 on the last piece i need to take. Never had problems with gold so much that all my alts are in 4x3 setup. It takes less than 1000 gold to equip them all if you know how. Lol.

I see that being unable to follow with proper points you first got it to personal level “my family growing me up”, then to worse language, and now just making assumption to troll on.

All of the above happen whenever someone is proven wrong and doesnt want to take the L, to use your words.

you don’t even look at the big picture of how pheons is literally the battery that ties all this together and the exchange comes to life and is active and gives f2p players the opportunity to afford the shop.

Pheons is needed for gear = every player needs pheons

The exchange functions endlessly to benefits all sides since everyone needs to use it.
