So I know that for us dps, upgrade our weapons is the most important thing to increase dps, but as a future main sup (maybe not sure yet) I just want to know if is really important to get +22 weapon or more in sups. I think that increases buffs and maybe healing/barrier? it is really worth it to push high weapon as a sup? I know the quality wasn’t important but not sure about the attack power.

you give more damage with higher weapon lvl(ilvl) since your buffs are dependant on your basic attackpower. so your like a better cursed doll
As far as I know, they’re still both important (level and quality). Level increases your attack power, so your buffs get bigger. Quality increases your “Vigor” which increases your vitality, increasing your shields and heals, depending on the class and abilities.
They aren’t as important as they are for dps, since they need to do damage and the higher the better, but they are still important for supports.
going higher than 1490 atm isn’t that worth it though. You’ll have a soft reset on the gear level with Brelhaza gear, so anything higher is just wasting resources. Only reason you’d try to get higher than 1490 is to be able to also clear Brelzhaza 3, 4, 5 and 6th gates.
So in the end you didn’t know. I’d suggest looking up any +20min guide on damage types

This is a snippet from Aiyulol’s Bard guide but it should apply to both support.
TL;DR: Each weapon tap for a bard above +17 is approximately 0.23% more damage for DPS due to the increased attack buff. It’s very minor and is not a high priority.
Weapon quality does not affect your attack buff nor your Z buff.
Your AP buff scales from your base AP and is not affected by AP engravings (increase mass, cursed doll, etc.)
Math:
DPS AP with a buff from a +17 Harp: (44487 + 38105 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53241
DPS AP with a buff from a +18 Harp: (44487 + 38953 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53350
DPS AP with a buff from a +19 Harp: (44487 + 39820 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53488
DPS AP with a buff from a +20 Harp: (44487 + 40706 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53628
DPS AP with a buff from a +21 Harp: (44487 + 41383 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53736
DPS AP with a buff from a +22 Harp: (44487 + 42071 * 0.15) * 1.06 = 53845
