Making mistakes is fine… we make them all the time, but come on!!! blaming game’s design for our faults?
I do not expect perfection… I do expect people to know mechanics or, at a minimum, be willing to learn them and speak in chat when someone ask “anyone know mechanics”?
I did all T1 and 2/3 of T2 with matchmaking, burned all my HP battle pots supply because I stayed when I should have left…!
I mean I have not seen an MMO before where you could not at least repair your gear without a problem instead of ending the whole run on the spot and having to re-progress through the thing from the beginning.
Thank goodness this repair issue is not common for me. But I experienced it at least once and that was “what the fuck” moment for me, one person bailing out due broken gear meant other 3 people who worked together and enjoyed persevering through challenge had to say goodbye to each other…
And with matchmaking, like I’ve said to guild members in frustration: Every re-queue mean another bunch of idiots, that have to learn the content from the beginning
Well, all mmo I have played had repair items… but let’s be honest here they didn’t bother to check gear (or simply approach the NPC and do the repair to make sure you go in at a ) I would not hold my breath that they will check if they have enough repair items…
But as I said, I’m up for the challenge… but armor brake is where I draw the line.
Instead of Fu Tytalos I would say-> fuck Matchmaking!
Matchmaking can be an interesting experience. But since not every class can solo every Guardian raid, it’s clear that if a system exists for matchmaking, matchmaking is designed to be a viable choice of clearing content. I haven’t tried Find Party option, since I often tend to play at late nights and I automatically assume there’s not many people around so matchmaking is the fastest and easiest bet for a group.
I mean why allow matchmaking if some people claim you’re not supposed to be able to clear content with it? But let’s not get into the discussion about NA/EU skill levels/mindsets VS Korean ones…
This is a wonderful game, just some designs make no sense for non-Korean people. And some designs are just AGS variants for their maximum profits, not sure if premium repair service is one of them.
You want fairness? Pay like people who paid for their aura then. It is not fair when you’re getting what people are paying to have because then it’ll be fair for you but unfair for others.
If you delete any mechanic that tries to get you to pay for convenience, you’ll get a game with a 20-25 dollar/euro subscription fee instead of f2p… Think thats better?
I don’t mean that MM is useless… it exist for good reasons. It was just a comment out of frustration.
You can absolutely clear content with matchmaking, it’s just a lottery to get matched with people that’s willing to learn the content…
LFG can suffer from this too… especially if you remove matchmaking from the game, just look how people avoid doing Sunqua Peak or Atherblade (Captain Mai Trin) in GW2, which is a game that do not have matchmaking for fractals
(note: Yes, I’m aware that bugs is also a reason why Sunqua Peak was avoided in GW2… but difficulty and fractal instabilities was a reason too)
Not without the monthly service but it only costs 5000 gold lmao use up your life skill bar and you will have 5000 gold why is this even a discussion lol. 5000 Gold that’s literally it.
I was forcibly drafted to Sunqua Peak CM by friends and cleared it fast, even I had no self-confidence that I would be able to do such content. I guess my experience of endgame raiding from other MMOs was there all along!
there’s no NPC… so unless I’m missing something too… your only option to repair is through your pet’s menu, which is inly available if you have crystaline aura
then why don’t you just prepare before enter any raids, each wipes = 5% reduction say if it drop to 50% which is 10 fails then im sure that the current team ur doing abyss with is not worth wasting time and resources, better quit and find a new team
