Accidentally PERMANENTLY Banned by a Friend of mine

Hello there this is a follow up to the first thread my friend made:

If you read through the thread u’ll see the whole situation I’ve been dealing with for the past 3 days.

Today in the morning one of the Moderators from this Forum @Kagami told me to create another Ban Appeal Ticket since my last one wasn’t up to date anymore (u know what I mean if u read the linked thread above).
I did that and sent them this E-Mail:

Dear Amazon Games Studio Support,

a few days ago I created a ban appeal for Lost Ark. At the time I thought I got falsely banned for purchasing a Skin off of the Auction House with the original owner of it refunding their purchase.

Person A buys Platinum Founder’s Pack (for example) and puts the Skins on the Auction House

Person B (me) buys the Skins completely legitimate via earned in-game Gold

Person A refunds their purchase

→ Person A and Person B (me) get banned

It turns out that that was not the case so I would like to give an update on my ban appeal ticket.

A friend of mine bought me a “Lost Ark Apprentice Starter Pack” via a Code for Steam since they’re from a blocked country and therefore couldn’t send me the gift directly through Steam. It turns out that the Seller my friend got the key from (gamivo) is a scammer and he ended up refunding every single key he sold which resulted in a permanent ban for a lot of people, including me.

My friend made a forum thread about it which I also commented on so please take a look at it and also link to it in the updated ban appeal ticket:

Accidently permanently banned my friend

My friend is devastated because “they were the reason” my account got permanently banned so I would be very happy if I somehow get the chance to either pay off the debt created by the Seller (20 euros) or get unbanned in some other way even if I have to pay 3x the amount “I’m” owing AGS.

I attached some Screenshots down below to prove my as well as my friends innocence in this matter so please also add these to the ban appeal ticket (note that the Apprentice Starter Pack I received does not even show up in the Transaction History anymore and that Kagami, a Moderator in the official Lost Ark Forums sent me here)

My Steam and Lost Ark Data:

Steam Account: Steam Community :: pwixel

Steam ID: 76561198264891264

Character Name: Asger

Region: EU West

Server: Moonkeep

With these Attachments: (I ofc had to censor a bunch of stuff for this Public Forum Post)

The Steam Notification I got during a Chaos Dungeon:

Me trying to redeem the Steam Key that I used to get the Starter Pack:

Steam saying it’s invalid now because someone already redeemed it (me):

My Purchase History to show I myself never refunded anything (note that the Starter Pack isn’t even listed there anymore; the Apprentice Starter Pack that I sent to a friend of mine isn’t the one I am talking about)

The Seller’s Page on G2A:

The Support’s message that my friend received for further evidence that I nor my friend have done anything wrong:

The Page showing that I have been banned by AGS, the Game Developer/Publisher (I was told to get in touch with Steam at first. Steam can literally do nothing about it since it’s issued by AGS)

And lastly the Reply @Kagami gave me in the hopes of getting an actual human being on the other end:

Kagami forwarding me

Now to the Reply I got:

The FIRST sentence in my E-Mail literally states that it’s about Lost Ark. So why does Support still copy paste 50% New World, 50% Lost Ark related E-Mails? I would be lying if I said I’m not concerned if the Person handling my Appeal even sent it to the right Team (since the beginning of the E-Mail is about New World and the end about Lost Ark)

I’m usually a very patient person and wouldn’t mind waiting for a few days but I’ve had people like these before that didn’t even bother reading my Appeals (literally got that response within a minute of sending my Appeal):

so I want to make sure my Ticket atleast reaches the right people.

I sent the same E-Mail from above again and just added that it’s not about New World but about Lost Ark right at the Beginning of it but haven’t gotten a response so far.

@Roxx I know you’re a very busy person with most likely more important things to work on but I’d be very happy if I atleast somehow get the confirmation that my Appeals were actually sent to the Lost Ark Moderation/Unban Team and not some other Team that has nothing to do with this.

I’ll update this Thread whenever I get any more News so please don’t lock it!

EDIT: This is the 2nd response I got just now:

I would really like to know how I’m supposed to give enough evidence whenver the Web Ticket function doesn’t allow you to put attachments to it AND is limited in terms of characters written. (Also my last E-Mail was okay to send there meanwhile the second one I sent to the exact same Address isn’t? huh?)

Best Regards
Asger / Pwixel

Any support would be nice.

This is a Private Message I just got:

Hey, thank you for voicing a group of people who can’t right now, really awesome!

I do want to let you know, maybe you can edit it in or add a reply on my behalf:
For my initial appeal I got an email from a representative that they are looking into my appeal. I sent a couple of more additions out of frustration the past days, no response.

Today I received an email from the person that wrote the initial reply with some questions regarding my purchase, and I replied with all the necessary information. I do believe these questions have never been asked before, so I do have the feeling that they are currently dealing with this issue.

If I can be honest, there was a lot going on when this all happened, and with the bigger banwave I can accept that they turn all their attention to fix that issue first, so I’m giving them the reason of the doubt currently, and slightly have more hope that we can expect a fix soon.

I just want to keep the questions confidential at the time with the hopes of not slowing down their progress.

Seeing that he was asked a few questions regarding his purchase is really good news to be honest since the people at AGS seem to be actually working on the situation. I would of course prefer if AGS themselves came forward with an announcement of some sort that they’re dealing with this specific issue but atleast there is something new about this topic. Once I get a reply to my ban appeal ticket I will update this thread once again!
