Add 21:9 1440p Borderless option

image

There’s only a 21:9 option for 1080p. Using the 32:9 option results in huge black borders on the sides. Yes I know there are workarounds, but it sucks that the game doesn’t have the option built in.

@Shadow_Fox pls halp.

the game only goes up to 21:9 so on your 32:9 it will ALWAYS have big black borders no matter what options they put in.

I want to get rid of the big black borders so I can use the additional desktop space that I have for other things.

Sorry, tech limitations.

That’s what they’ll always reply instead of we are lazy and/or incompetent. The same applies to regions merge, custom keybindibgs, never ending loading times, etc.

I have 0 loading times, buy a better pc, the majority of useful keybindings are customizable, Server merges will happen someday, region merges will never be a thing. The game supports up to 21:9 resolution and SG has no reason to update that to support 32:9 as basically no one even has that monitor to begin with making the time spent on it absolutely irrelevant and wasted.
As an additional note the majority of gamers don’t even have a 21:9 which the game already supports to the fullest.

I don’t think you understand what I’m looking for.

I basically just want a 3360x1440 borderless option. They basically only need to type this resolution into a table so we can select it from the in-game menu.

As already stated the game isn’t designed to support 32:9. My point still stands. It’s not as simple as add an option for me to use it.

I’m honestly shocked by how confidently dumb you are. I can literally edit the XML file in the config folder to get the resolution I want (which ISN’T 32:9 btw, I explicitly state that in the title), what the fuck do you mean the game isn’t designed to support it?

ooh thats another issue then. ye if its not in the game now and theres no way to edit any kind of config file to your liking i wouldnt bet on it ever being implemented.

The option does exist. I’m guessing your monitor’s resolution is 5120x1440, and it doesn’t think that 3440x1440 is valid for whatever reason.
