In my opinion, the adventure tomes are unfair.
People spend many hours by farming mobs to get all the collectibles for adventure tomes, while other people just going to market and buying all collectibles. They don’t have to make an effort to farm mobs. The same is with people who buy gold for real money (crystals).
If the developers think it’s okay, then why there is no option to buy cooking ingridients in-game with gold? Whats the difference beetwen collectibles and cooking ingredients that one can be bought and sold and the other cannot be bought or sold?
In my opinion, the ingredients of the adventure tomes should be something like other collectibles like island souls or ignea tokens - something that cannot be bought and you need to spend time to get it.

I think it is fine as it is, you can complete the adventurers tome without spending anything except time (and effort)
Only the collectibles and rapport you can speed up with gold, buying in market or shop.
Everything is accessible for F2P, and the gold/money spenders have an option to take a shortcut, is that a problem?
Everyone needs to spend time for cooking, another & hidden story as well as killing the rare monsters and clearing the dungeons. Its not like you can bypass everything with gold and purchase 100% adventurer tomes
Kinda see where you are going with this and agree for some extend (Hate that ppl RMT) but dont see a problem of buying tome items from market, most are cheap and and expensive ones 150-300g are one time purchases and no-one should have problems investing that money, and ofc there is route to farm mobs and collect for free and selling pieces that you dont need anymore.
no one is forcing you to buy them. If you prefer to find them yourself have at it. It shouldn’t bother you in the least.

Maybe i am just a bit frustrated when i see someone accomplishes something in a few minutes when it tooks me many hours.
Just buy it man. In old continent u can buy all around 500g . And it is an one time thing. Don’t think about it, buy it and finish it ! cheers

sounds like you don’t enjoy doin it then if it frustrates you like that. So you should be glad you have the option to buy them. If you enjoyed finding them it wouldn’t bother you.

Sitting for a few hours in one spot, turning your brain off and farming some minions to drop some RNG drop is an annoyance, not an effort.
You have to understand that people with more money than you will always get better and more things than you. No disrespect meant. Its just how life works.
i mean you only need 8 to get the most important one which is the skill points.
8 of the adventure tombs cooking are rly easy the rest have some VERY annoying things to do…
Like that one in rohondel where you need to kill this damn tooki plenty of times…

the clear difference in Cooking and collectables is that you can buy and stell one of them to make gold.
Working ppls dont have the time, nor the fun in sitting there for 8 hours to farm all the colletables.
I would love it, that they make the cooking ingredients sellable.
The endgame raids is clearly the focus of the game and im fine to “waste” the gold from valt to complete the cooking tomes, that are just useless time wasted imho.
the only real unfair part is that script and bots overflow the market for these stuff …
Basically the market was the opportunity to give ur farming time value ;/
