Okay, so all up to this point (tier 2) I’ve felt the pay2progress/pay2win/pay4Comfort has been balanced and okay… but now I just found out the limitation slot system for cards and others…
This is a problem because you are receiving rewards and loot from the game-content which you then should be happy for that you received and got from bosses and what not… but just to then see that your ‘card slots are full’ and in order to expand the slots you have to pay crystals for it.
Sadly this sucks due how it is put up. Feels like it’s just there because money-greed by the creators.
People would use money on this game perfectly fine without this but this is just over the edge for me.
I enjoy the game and really thought it was okay with the pay systems as it doesn’t limit your game, but this clearly does.
And yes, gold collecting and then buying crystal works but it’s a huge effort just into get slot explansions for cards as you should be happy to loot cards in the first place.
Anyway just my two cents for whoever cares about the opinion.
You do realize that crystals can be gained via ingame gold? It costs $0
Also, you have 6 chars that each come with 3 pages of storage, that can be used as personal storage for free?
Sure I can see how this is inconvenient and be a hassle but is this really the one you try to fight against after 200 hours? Devs make me pay gold/crystal for more convenience?
Somehow this limits your gameplay?
I am not saying it woukd be nice to just get unlimited slots for free but this is just not a big deal and this is definitely not predatory nor is it any worse than any other games that provide limited storage space that can be increased with ingame/cash shop currency
Beside the currency exchance is made really bad. I have looked at it many time and have no idea how it work.
It could be as simple as type in how much gold you will use and the game then show what you can get then accept or not. Its made very wierd and could have been so much more easy to use. I would like to use it, and some have tryed explain, but i still dont get it.
But in the end it dosnt matter when the shop dosnt work in my game anyway.
I havnt paid penny to this game except crystaline aura, and have about the same gameplay with you. Im currently at ilvl1350 and two alts at tier 2, also never had issue in speeding up gearing tbh. I was only 3 days behind from the first whale group in getting t3, which I accomplished it about 10 days ago. To be honest, there is no reason to rush to t3, nor you are not losing or winning from anyone else. If you feel behind from someone paying cash, then make more alts or spend more time to gear up yourself. The cash to gold rate is horrible and inefficient in terms of speeding up gears in fact.
im on that opinion why rush to t3, then theres not much else to do, you have reached the max goal then what? I stopped at tier 2 and now focus on maxing zones and stuff the rest i have enough time to do. I havent even made an alt yet after 300 hours. I wait until we get more classes, I want a summoner as my first alt. The more I complete on my main the better and faster it is for my alts.
Card slots are very cheap, I think you just need to look up some guides to progress further into the game so you can up your gold income. Even just Mid T2, in one day, you could easily make 2k+ gold from selling leapstones. This pretty much covers the bulk of your needs for card slots. Considering that card slots are one time expansion costs, it’s really not that expensive.
Why would you sell leapstones if you are making alts, dosnt make sense…
I have desided not to make an alt before the summoner is released. It would be wise to keep the materials for your next character, since there is a huge need of materials to begin with.
Because they sell for A LOT of gold, and alts have plenty of options for leapstones already. Some of my alts are sitting at 200 bound leapstones for which I will have mostly no use (through una’s dailies and such)
