you cant even afford 5$ why are u bringing up money?
Must be sad to need an account so someone will talk to you
If this game and all the time you invested into it isn’t worth $5 to you then I don’t really know what to say.
Hope your happy to work for free too, you know, to have that balance in your life.
Had it ever occurred to you that i can spend 5$ dollars? but why would i then this game is a fancy mobile game which drains you of your pockets and rewards whaling out to just get ahead of the curve. its a disgrace
Not really the argument here but please come bump this more
You have a point, but the topic already derailed into childish namecalling.
You guys should go make a thread asking Ags to charge more seems like you’d get along there, still not sure why you’re here
Only thing he has had a point on so far was new world xd
It looks like you’re under the false impression that anyone who posts in the same topic as you must agree with you.
That’s not how forums work
you like to enter debate when this is a feedback forum
Not asking for agreement just want to know when the game changes will match official patch notes actually. But then I found you
The issue with this ideology is, you, as a player are inconvenienced in some way to deal with bots. Amazon is willing to change the rules and the game in order to combat these bots and everyone seems to be okay with it. Yet the bots will never be removed entirely, so honestly why even try? I hit 1340 on the third week of release and I said, “huh this game is intentionally predatory, not like at all what my KR friends described.” Then quit. I got here from a random RSS feed, Ill definitely never read this after I post it.
Your inconvenience is the inability to initiate trades or send mails unless you spend 5$ in a 19 year old platform that has a sale going on every weekend and a major sale every 3-6 months. Why are F2P restrictions such a big deal now, is this your first MMO?
In GW2 free accounts can’t send gold or items via mail, they can’t hold more than a certain amount of gold and they had some limited usage of the auction house but I don’t remember what it was.
In SWTOR free accounts can’t hold more than a certain amount of credits, can’t access certain missions, they had some quick bar limits and I’m pretty sure I’m missing something related to the auction house.
The list goes on and on for almost every other F2P MMO out there. Here you can’t send mail or initiate trades, that’s pretty much standard nowadays. What’s not standard is that you don’t have to spend 5$ on LA or pay a monthly sub, you have to spend 5$ anywhere on the steam platform.
Stop drowning in a glass of water.
This is not an airport, there is no need to announce your departure.
What a troll post. You sound like a salty bot who can’t turn out new steam accounts.
Didn’t know you get emails when people respond so I guess its made it easy for me to get tied up in this video game tribalism for a little. The point and issue I have wasn’t really solely the steam transaction history limitation, they have changed pretty core parts of things because of bots (rapport rewards, matchmaking, currency exchanges [not solely just gold to gem but other system offered on islands for rewards tied to that island], class release schedules, content updates and ban waves applied to innoncent players who just happen to hit the bot detection AI criteria… to deny that your exeperience is different than of the intended design of the original developer is arguing in bad faith. I hope that you enjoy the game but to insult those who feel that the game would be better if those systems were either implemented with more foresight or not at all is kind of counterintuintive to constructive disccussion.
Nothing you mentioned there is gamebreaking, if it helps stop the bots that screw up the economy I’m all for it.
- Rapport rewards are still there, if it takes me an extra day or a week it’s not the end of the world.
- Not sure what they changed about matchmaking or currency changes, so I can’t argue there.
- Class release schedules remain as planned by Gold River pre-release, what changed?
- False positives suck, but they’re a part of every MMO.
As a former RU player I don’t see any significant effect on my experience, so yeah I can deny that without arguing in bad faith.
Out of all these, 5$ in steam is the least of anyone’s problems, F2P restrictions have existed in MMOs for years.
People even used GW2 as an example in this topic, completely ignoring the fact that they apply the same restrictions
You can’t blame AGS for something that is a Steam restriction.
Assuming that gold traders make proffit through farming golds and selling them for money, I struggle to understand how a 5$ blockage would stop them from farming golds and only paying to bypass the payment blockage whenever a reasonable ammount of golds are farmed without getting banned?
If a hypothesis of 10,000 gold makes them profit of 10$ they are really not loosing anything, and some new players to steam are forced to pay a price that they never intent to. Am I getting something wrong?
Bot farms run hundreds if not thousands of accounts, 5$ is nothing, but 5$ x 10.000 is not pocket change.
Affect how profitable it is and you make more than one consider if it remains worth it compared to other games.
