I’m new to this game and I like it. all seems well before the update but after it, it seems that the game causes my WIFI adapter or device to crash. It will show in my device manage that my WIFI adapter stop functioning and causes me to disconnect. IT HAPPENS A LOT!
Tried to reformat my laptop hoping that it will fix the problem but its not. I’m running a windows 10 system, Asus TUF gaming F15 laptop.
So far I can play the game using the ethernet LAN cable setup and it works fine. but every time I tried to use WIFI connection, the problem still persist, the WIFI connection will abruptly stop functioning and I need to uninstall/reinstall the device every time I play Lost Ark.
Hoping the devs will reply to this message.
Additional info:
- Windows 10 is up to date drivers etc.
- Other games works fine using the WIFI connection
- tried to check the integrity of the game
- firewall settings checked

playing fortnite is fine but playing lostark messes up my wifi adapter? is there anybody support available?
Hello, @Bleitze, my sincere apologies for the late response on this one.
I’m sorry to hear you’re facing this situation, it’s really odd you get disconnected only while playing the game on wireless networks.
I’m curious about it so I will ask you a few questions, and also I’ll give you some stuff to try.
Does this happens only with Lost Ark? I saw you mentioned Fortnite runs fine, but can you try other games if you have any other on your laptop?
Is there other wireless network you can try, like a hotspot or a neighbor/friend WiFi? that can tell us a lot about where might be the problem.
Here’s also a help page from Microsoft Support that we can look into.
Here’s our article also for troubleshooting lag and connectivity issues.
I hope that any of this steps helps you with this, tag me and keep me posted on this one, I’m curious about how this develops.

Same problem for me, but I have been able to pinpoint the wifi adapter getting yeeted from device manager mainly to games with Easy anti-cheat or nProtect gameguard. I have no idea why these two are causing the wifi adapter to crash, forcing me to restart PC, still it will crash even if I reinstall the driver, game is nearly unplayable, for me this started constantly happening after previous week’s update. It used to happen many times before, it was like once every 4 days or so, and one restart would have solved the problem. Any other game, no problem, mainly the games having either of these two anti-cheat software is causing the problem making the game nearly unplayable every time hoping that I lucky to not have the adapter crash. I hope someone looks into the issue, or point out where to get help.

Hello @CaliplasmaX,
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue similar to the one on this thread but I heavily suggest against replying on top of older posts in order to avoid having yours overlooked.
I suggest trying the troubleshooting offered previously in this post by @Santoryu. If the issue persists, this scenario will require our tech team to look into your logs and follow up directly with other possibly sensitive account information that is best not posted on the forums so it would be better if you could please create a web ticket by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games.
Please, do not hesitate reaching out to live support to have this looked into.
See you in Arkesia!
It got resolved
seems like varying versions of bluetooth and wifi was causing the problem, I got new driver updates for both within near time frame. It got pretty much solved, it has been 2 days without wifi crashing. I will see for how long I can maintain it.
