It’s fully understandable for what you feel. and you do the great job to quit if you feel it is not the right game for you.
When my teammates don’t know mechs, or TOO MUCH alts without any try to gear up just want get gold, or some named “fast” team but eventually you realized some of them are totally new and whole team stuck for one hour. I have seen people don’t bother use HP potions. You are much better than them.
I am getting sick of it too. I know mechs, so for me is like boring repeating weekly. I don’t care if content get nerfed and could do some help for some people they don’t want to watch videos. Hardcore players know the mechs. they just repeating these raid, for their main, then alts, again and again, in the end feel boring and quit. For those players who cannot involve in and you said its their fault that they didn’t read your game guidebook? I am sorry I can do it on my lawn mower.
Without player base, whom you gonna show off your beautiful shinning gear?

So your reason to look " guides " to hope u have seen it. Then go into a Group And hope u dont fail so people dont getting pissed? 6 Roster Managing in 7 Days 1 ID is not much work and no 18hours a Day. And if someone likes the Game why should the player do something else in the free time?

Idk what u mean? For Exampel u go Normal Vykas 1430. Atleast dont have Rainbow Stats. 3x3 or 4x3 and some Gems. Maybe Lost Wind or LOS .
Even if would have an Alt for lower Legion Raids and u dont have that Requiremnts what i have sayd for exampel. I dont gona accept you.
We already got the nerfed Version, and im scared we get the new nerfed Version Brellshuza. SG nerfes Brell Raid Again after Akkan Release. We geting Tripods System. We are geting more Over Powered and its only Normal Brell. What are you complaining???

How do u wana Raid in a Game that MAIN CONTENT is Raiding. And u dont wana learn the raids u dont wana speend in pub or in guilds.

Finding a guild in this game seems to be a challenge. There is something about guild design and high alt population in this game that makes it feel like there is more ‘friction’ to the process than there maybe should/could be.
Have had a post in LA Guild Recruitment forums looking for a guild for ~3-4 weeks, and check out the forum posts every couple days. Still no luck. I dont feel like my schedule (~10pm-2am EST a few days a week) is overly restrictive; but it seems to be more of a challenge for this game than it EVER was for wow.
In comparison, finding a guild to play with in WoW was always pretty easy, even with a more strict play schedule.
I am not quite sure what the main difference is, and my example is anecdotal, but i certainly feel a large difference.
Maybe restriction for server transfers is part of it? had to server transfer to find guilds in wow often, but that didnt feel like a large obstacle.
Still looking for a guild if anyone reads this… USEast Regulus…

You don’t need to watch many videos, maybe just 5-10 mins or watch a spreadsheat with each mechanics, rest you need to practice by doing. You will learn if you play, nothing is going to be easy first time. You need to spend some time on each gate, and then you’re done forever and know the fight in and out after some clears.
As its been said many times as of late, clown is the beginning of a major decline in active playerbase.
I do believe you can get through vykas… clown will be another story. As someone who has 1500+ hours in lost ark currently, I myself am staring down that barrel as well: SLOWLY prog clown, probably G1 per week, SLOWLY get my trumpets and SLOWLY upgrade… or quit.
There isn’t any other way to get the trumpets from clown. Thus, no other way to progress your character. And why would I want to? Because thats a huge draw to any game. But if I can’t get that within a reasonable amount of time…logic dictates that I bow out and take my wallet elsewhere.
I do wish there was an LFR version of Clown and beyond… Rehearsal but reward us with the trumpets we need. Reward me with trumpets and I’ll forgo the gold from clown tbh. I don’t even care about the gold earned from that raid.

I understand that. I’ve seen some videos of Vykas and the cheat sheets, but after realizing what’s up with Kakul and even Brelshaza I decided to not learn it. I don’t have fun in doing a university degree before entering the raid. You can’t just try it out, it’s wether you’ll get gatekeepers or get kicked.
Wipe mechanics in this game are indeed lazy sort of “challenge” Kakul and Brelshaza are just constant stress tbh especially with elitists in the team.

I agree with the point on group wide wipe mechanics being lazy design. Why should my mistake, or someone elses, cause the entire attempt to fail… Ok, you want to sprinkle that in throughout raids? Fine. Not every gate, and multiple times per gate. It gets old… All under the guise of difficult mechanics.
Not to mention, the major bottom line draw of LA is its combat. When I have to stop combat to do a dance with orbs or 2d mario or top down birdview simulator grid crap…its so irritating.
Yup, no more free rides vykas/valtan offered. You either pull your own weight or go back collecting mokokos. Somebody said after circus there’s either raiders or quitters. About f time. I have a friend that never got to the ghost phase in valtan, never been at the MVP screen, floor poving most of the fight. And guess what? He said valtan is EZ. Imagine that. I bet there’s plenty of players just like him. That’s why I’m so glad that BS is over.
If normal g1 gives you 1 trumpet, how many you expect to get via rehersal? A quarter of a trumpet?
Im sure ‘pulling your weight’ is the whole point of the raid and SG will not deviate from that. And thats fine. They WILL lose players, hence the OP, hence all of the guildees that I used to run with that I’ve raided with since BC wow, and likely more to come. Thats fine. Enjoy a smaller community and less options to choose from on the AH.
Regarding trumpets and this LFR/Rehearsal version… one trumpet. I forgo the gold for the entire raid, zero gold earned. Just the trumpet. Thats the point. I’ll technically be at a gold disadvantage for the week because of that, and thats a trade off Im willing to make.
Hell. Im willing to pay a few thousand gold per trumpet on the AH if they ever make them tradeable.
Believe me I WILL enjoy not having to carry a dead weight in my party.
No trumpets for people unable to clear clown, cause we’ll have same thing at Brel as we had on valtan/vykas - people will get carried again. Thanks to clown - no level 2 relic set no party accept.

Been checking quite a few discords as well, also nothing as of yet.
Still appears to be a much more challenging process compared to anything previously experienced in WoW.
Do you have a suggestion for finding relevant discords outside of:
- asking in game
- looking via in game client
- asking in Lost Ark forums
- checking Lost Ark forums on a regular basis??

its elitist as fuck nobody wants new players or invest since most new players quit and AGS/SG don’t give a fuck.
If you want to find an active guild u need to be min let me check…scrolling right now need to be at least 1460 and on ur main. Most guilds recruiting now small sample are lvl 20 aka they want players at least Vykas HM ready. What that means is u join the noob 1415 guilds or dare say it network ur way into a high lvl guild show dedication and maybe they’ll accept you after “probation” prospect. Most of these guilds discords are open to join so u can test waters to find out which u like.

also, guess i didnt make it clear - my two main characters are 1507.5 and 1485, with having fully cleared all current content aside from Inferno modes, not that it matter for my topic of discussion much, since finding a guild as new player would be a different challenge i would think.
