Restrict Feedback to Feedback specific subforums. Start handing out warnings and squelches to those not posting in the correct subforum.
Squelch toxic posters. Let them read, that’s about it.
The last thing would be just to remove General Discussion. The avenue for toxicity is gone, forum posts will now land in the sub forums they belong in, and less troll-like posting/negativity would exist.

LoL did that and everything get better. LoL had the most toxic forum out there before they closed it.

I’ve used the forums for months now and I’m 100% in favour of just closing them, this place is a toxic hellhole where good discussions went to die a long time ago.
Get the CMs to focus their attention on anything else but whatever this place is trying to be, it really serves no purpose but to stoke hate and sow division.
This forum literally has a group of like 10 people who run around screaming the same few lines about how terrible the game is and how it will die unless it does x, then proceeds to go around screaming rmt, whale, no lifer, white knight, cope to anything they see that they don’t agree with.
but but, where will the dregs of humanity gather and spread their misery? in therapy where they belong? as if.
If you don’t like these forums I suggest reddit, the upvote/downvote function filters out the trash.

It is the gaming industry as a whole not just lost ark. For some odd reason “gamers” are just prone to be loud entitled brats who think they are all business geniuses and want to share their knowledge with the world. Lost ark is nothing compared to most of the other f2p games out there by the way.

The forums only need good moderation and strong rules. They can even get moderators for free as I guess many here will be happy to work for free.
90% of the posts we see would have been moderated on forums like Mihoyo one.
no one here should be hired as a moderator. talk about bias and unfair moderating. hell nah

if you think too people on the forums complain and post negative stuff, it’s because they feel negatively about the game and want to vent their frustration.
adding to that some people just want to argue with others online for entertainment, just look at all the threads that get started, non-inflammatory posts don’t get views and responses, so despite what you may think, most forum goers want to see this shit, otherwise they would stop clicking in and replying to the threads.
if no one reads the negative posts or comments on them, the posts would die down pretty quickly because no one wants to post things just to get ignored

To put it in a casual perspective: it’s always better to know what kind of shit is getting flung around to brace yourself instead of just shutting your eyes and not knowing what’s going to hit your face. 
Sure. if this could force the cms to post relevant information like important dates, the exact contents of the future patch, the future plans, or what is going on ahead of time on the official news webpage and official media sites instead of some lucky bastard’s random thread comment section. Then I’m all for it. I’m so tired of hunting down thread comments to find the info that are not on the official news page.

well the thing is AGS is a company and companies consider even bad feedback good feedback, so I don’t think they will ever close them because you asked them to.
