AGS, if you want to stick to your 2-months class release, fine. But-

Release the classes on alternate months instead of lumping them together with Legion Raid releases.

There’s still 2 weeks for you to change the roadmap.

In your 2 months roadmap, the first month should be a new class release. The second month should be a new Legion Raid release.

This way, people who wish to play the new class (Scouter/Reaper/Summoner/Artist/Aeromancer) will have a month, in addition to hoarded materials, to prepare their new class for the Legion Raid.

Lumping a new class release and a Legion Raid release at the same time creates massive Fear-Of-Missing-Out (FOMO) and immense pressure/strain to get the new class up to Kakul-Saydon, or Brelshaza, or Elgacia, in future. Especially so if it is a highly-anticipated class by people who wants to switch their mains to this new class.

It is an unfriendly F2P experience to release both at the same time instead of releasing the class 1 month prior first. And I am sure AGS takes into account the F2P experience and feedback very strongly.

Afterall, you guys removed Legendary Skins because you were afraid of making an unfriendly F2P experience, didn’t you?

Probably they’re seeing no significant return in players for the last two content releases, so now they’re combining them to see if doing it all in one go makes a difference. You’d think they would’ve learnt from New World… you can’t be reactive with MMOs. Once people start going it’s very difficult to bring them back.

That may be the case. Its another example of not understanding the market and playerbase.

Classic AGS

It is just a game. There is no reason to feel pressured at all. If a little game affects someone like this they should probably reevalute their priorities. Its not normal.

If they think their roadmap needs changing, they will change it, but 90% of these posts go ignored because they won’t make changes at all based on a very small percentage of players posting on the forum.

Forgot to use the word cadence in your title/post

While I partly agree with what you said, it’s more normal than not these days, that’s why companies do it so blatantly.

Saying it’s not healthy would probably be better.

It’s amazing that the sheer hubris of the people making the decisions disallows them from doing what would not only make the NA/EU version better but also make them more money and make players happy.

It seems like they would rather let the game completely bleed out and die than change their stance and approach on these issues.

Why do you think they do it?

The game requires a massive grind to make your character playable. I would argue that most people would hate only doing Argos with their new chars, at least I pushed hard to get my latest alt to 1415.
It’s really enjoyable to be able to just focus on that meanwhile fine-tuning your Vykas skills, so you got it on the backbone when a new challenge arrives in the game. I’m very very happy I’m not gonna be making a Scouter bc I would probably park all my character and advance nowhere if I had both a new twink and a new raid to focus on. What you’re saying is at best arguing that people stop playing the game because there’s too much to look out for. I’m not sure I remotely understand your logic.
