AGS is lowkey the most Anti-Consumer Publisher i have ever seen

-Does not give you full Founder Packs when you switch Regions
-Does not give you Twitch Drops when you switch Regions
-Does not give you another Starter Pack when you switch Regions

Why the hell is a Trillion Dollar company so freaking greedy and Anti-Consumer? For many people this is the main reason why they don’t switch which at the moment is the only solution to solve the EUC problem but AGS simply refused to give people what they paid for. What is wrong with this company?

AGS is a sub company of Amazon and have their own budget.

But give it another few days, once Elden Ring releases, the queues will be a bit better.

This game is F2P, not P2W, without monthly payments and even with Spanish voices.

I’m having a lot of fun, and also having a little extra patience it’s more easy for a such amazing game.

The issue will be solved, maybe tomorrow with Elden Ring with some streamers/playerbase switching the game.

So you are basically saying players dont have the rights to complain even though they are forced to select between being unable to play for a week+ and switching servers and losing like 75% of the value of what they paid for because the game is Free2Play?
Good take.

You can complain a lot. But a lot. Such a lot! Nobody stops you from that.

I mean, its a F2P game by a mobile developer, of course its anti consumer and that has nothing to do with AGS. You have to accept that when you download it and yes you can make it work but its without question a worse experience because of the monetization system.

I think the region switching issues arent greed though, I think its incompetence.
Game wasn’t initially designed to be multi region, and they royally screwed up the implementation of it by not having a means to transfer rosters

Sure, but to compare it with Square Enix for example:
Similar issue happened when Endwalker came out. Bought CE, Server was full with hours of queues but already used items on that Server. The Support simply told me to delete the items and then they gave me the items again on another server. This is consumer and player friendly. What AGS is doing here however is the complete opposite.

Square Enix is an unfair comparison because they are sort of the gold standard now, but FFXIV did fail initially

But yes, their game has full multi region support and you can transfer from NA region to japan region in less than a minute.

Also, when OCE servers launched everyone got free transfers

But even square enix wasnt immune to horrid queues

edit: Im not forgiving the lack of multi region support by AGS though. I just dont think its born of greed

Square Enix can do anything on their game, its their game, AGS have to work with smilegate on everything, you are comparing 2 different things, and if you really play MMO you should be familiar with high queue at 1-2 months of new mmo or expansion, look at ff14 now they have more rooms they even give back the free trial, if you really want your hard earned money, request a cashback on your bank for sure refund, but will take 1-2 months so
