The above photo is key point #1 on the front page of smilegates site for Lost ark. The overwhelming response of na/eu has made it very clear that we’re not okay with them holding the remaining classes hostage for the projected next 6 months. If AGS and smilegate really stand by this belief then they need make some changes.
Take care of customer support issues while their at it too please. Clearly aren’t listening to the users complaints on how poor it is, nor are they maintaining out trust. Key point #1 is failing pretty hard ![]()
Thats exactly the difference between AGS and Smilegate.
AGS chilling at HQ telling Smilegate what they want proofs it with algorithm and data.
And Smilegate does. Cos they think its what we want.
Hopefully in a year or two AGS loses the publishing rights and Smilegate will give us what we wanted. For AGS its literally another money generating machine they can run until its dry.
Problem is that getting distribution rights in many countries is… not trivial. Also how much do you think squareenix listens to their western players over native players.
Yeah… after the initial delayed launch of LA due to New world made me grit my teeth and sadly what I thought would happen is becoming true.
If they really wanted user feedback, why haven’t they posted polls instead of “data” that’s heavily inaccurate due to the amount of bots in the game etc.
Smilegate addressed the New World thing and said it was because the game wasn’t in a good enough state yet.
If it came from Amazon I’d be suspicious but it would have been in Smilegates best interest to release as soon as possible. They will definitely be collecting a percentage of the revenue.
