Added #4. About economy. Look at how cheap an arti BIS is
If I trade all my leapstones I’m functionally down to 12 a day I need 564 GHL on average without all the buffs to get 1415. Thats 47 days of Una dailies.
If they do roll out these things to hinder bots and its working, the next step should be balancing out how much the player should farm weekly to get 1415 and giving them more bound leapstones.
You realize hundreds of thousands of players that didnt RMT grinded and did the same things your pointing out to get to 1415+.
Those hundreds of thousands of players also had access to a functioning Auction House, A community that would accept a 3x3 and tradable leapstones.
Yes but players wouldnt need to access the functioning auction house if they were provided more bound materials from the game.
It depends whats easier for AGS/SG, restrict tradable gems from chaos dungeons or actually do their job and ban bots before they get to the point of listing thousands a day or just give every player that actively played this game for 1 month more bound mats.
They really dont need to. ONLY IF they have actually good events happening that helps new players by dumping mats at them through events or updated quest rewards
The on-going bot situation, coupled with the other numerous amount of unresolved problems, IS the population control.

I think it’s a war that they will never win, everyone says that all the big MMOs are infested with bots and the truth is they exist, but in this game it’s already another level.
While you eliminate one 3 more appear.
Maybe shutting down account creation or limiting character creation for a period of a month as a test might help embark on a solution.
Who knows at this point, for my is a dead game.
For me it is a game that will not last long, I actually liked the game but the only reason that prevented me from leaving it was to think about the time and effort that I had dedicated to it but once I was free I am afraid to return
I’ve lost the will to play ngl. I only do 2 clowns a week now. Gatekeeping on another level. The ratio of an actual party to bus is stupidly off.
You need an active bot banning infrastructure not just banning thousands every week AFTER they caused damage to the economy or players experiences.
They just need to copy-paste more cosmetics from KR to fuel their profits because they are losing a ton from the constant RMT of gold before all their customers quit. Many games have battlepasses and business models that just revolve around cosmetics, LoL, Valorant, Fortnite, CSGO etc.
Just throwing bound materials doesn’t resolve the problem itself though. You throw all these bound materials players still need gold to quality tap, hone, craft, or do any research in their strongholds. You can’t just keep pulling gold from the game. That’s what AGS is doing and that is why you’re seeing more and more “how do I make gold” posts from new players.
If I didn’t get in at the start and had to start from scratch I wouldn’t play at all. I can’t get into anything, learning parties are scarce at best and take forever to fill even if you make your own, I don’t want to do chores for 5 weeks selling all my stuff to just ride another bus for another stupid goat demon, just to rinse and repeat for the next 4 months because until I make it to 1460 and somehow manage to learn the raids I don’t get to make any money outside of a lucky drop. And EVEN that is becoming harder and harder.
The frog tanked book prices making many of them almost worthless, unless you roll a high quality BiS accessory you are lucky to get 5k at best, it costs 100k minimum to gear a DPS properly with even decent quality to meet the stat requirements for many builds and that doesn’t even include buying books or BC for pheons.
This game is for the top end players, time whales and money whales. If you can’t keep up or didn’t start at the same line as everyone else, I hope you got patience and tenacity because that’s what it will take to get started.
Imagine if the control actually works. We could see gold changes to be reverted back. Regular players dont need em, but new ones certainly will.
Well im not the management but i would just scale the gold requirements after implementing more bound materials into the game. Omnium stars should have some internal pity meter because if its TRULY RNG, then it could take months/years to get a dam omnium star from Moake or Anguish Island which sucks.
It already feels disgusting when you farm on 6 alts for materials for a few taps and all u got is +10% pity, see you next week.
Yes the game is a KR grind but it wont be successful in NA if they dont atleast make it enjoyable enough to milk the playerbase with existing assets from KR.
Like any game, whales with a brain will quit once they see less real players they can flex their ego on, only the truly addicted gambling addicts who play like 5 gatcha games and LA is in their rotation will stay to spend money.

The fundamental problem is that we’re now changing the fundamentals of the game, you start tweaking numbers around and its gets messy fast. AGS only publishes the game and they’ve been pretty adamant about that fact. So changing set requirements that are designed to put the player at a certain pace won’t be done. They might just pull gold, but I highly double they’ll turn around and say “well we pulled gold so we’ll bump the chaos material drop by 25% and also they drop Oreha fusion now too”
Yes unfortunately with how management is handling this stuff…im just gonna enjoy the game until i dont and move on lol.
AGS should reason with SG on how this will affect both their profits cuz its about money and bots are eating up a ton of their profits.
I just want every player to do the endgame content to make gold/progress, everything before legion raids should just a be solid MMORPG campaign experience. But bots are abusing and amassing so much gold before endgame content which shouldnt happen.
There’s no way that’s a proper BiS arti engraving, that looks like its similar to many of our Relics where they seem really good but the combo isn’t quite right so they end up being dirt cheap. There’s tons of examples like it on our own auction house just in Relic instead of Ancient.
Here’s one more example. These are the Barrage Enhancement book prices.
You’ll notice that the purples actually have good enough value. Because it’s not farmed to oblivion by bots
Unfortunately, AGS doesn’t listen to any of your opinions or suggestions, or the game wouldn’t be as messy as it is today.
