AGS Update on QUES

NA is also having big issues mate

This seems like a lie, but either way I just want to play. Why would they lower player capacity on some of the highest population realms after a major patch?

Just wait for the fixes for “issues” (nerfs) after the servers came back up!

Wouldn’t be surprised if they remove some certain rewards and stuff

Maybe it was a real issue that forced them to do that…but we will never know because they don’t communicate. Why wouldn’t they say HOURS ago that they were or had done that? Instead they let thousands of players sit in ques for hours. I logged in almost 2 hours ago and just now dropped below 2K in que.

Why wouldn’t they elaborate on the problem, are too afraid they think we’re dumb to understand? We’ll never know, or be able to prove what SGR is actually doing.

What would have that of changed? Even if they communicated it you’d still be in que.

No, I likely would have made other plans…My plans for tonight were to play Lost Ark. If hours ago I had known, I would have called a friend to do something else in stead.

Release first new class and largest content update ----> lower server capacity ???

This is a bizarre thing for them to say. If it’s true I’d be blown away to be honest.

I’m just glad they are giving compensation this time around for EU too

Just imagine the people sitting in 5k queues, to log in and see a “Maintenance in x minutes” announcement :joy:

Was just thinking about that…

Highly unlikely they would ever admit to a bot plague and they needed to address the players somehow. If anyone doesn’t think botters are making new accounts to take advantage of the super-express you’re literally kidding yourself. You will believe anything AGS tells you in the future.

With that said. it’s good to see them taking action on the situation at least.

The only potential action I see them taking is most likely more nerfs, affecting anybody. They might be smarter this time by doing them silently, though…

~they reduced server capacity with the full knowledge or potential to have the full knowledge it would lead to the aforementioned queues as they should totally have this data and didn’t bother to even tell the players beforehand…

huh. why do I not believe this

This downtime will fix some of the other issues players have though which is good. Have to give them credit that it’s not just for one issue and they are doing multiple fixes with it. Good Job.

They literally did once before when they said they banned 1 million bots…

=P

i mean… once the update goes live then we will see what the truth is either the ques go away and there is no second bot wave or they dont go away and there is a second bot wave :face_in_clouds:

That is true but that acknowledgment to the public was for the positive feedback loop they would receive. " OMG amazing they removed one million bots"

Admitting to it being a part of the issue for the queues and the downtime is just a bad look. You honestly cant even blame them if they did lie.

That announcement was so wild to me. Like, holy crap, 1 million, with an ‘m’ bots?!?!

Like, yea, good at purging them and all, but over a million inauthentic accounts within a months time frame existing in the game, that was insane.
