Yea when you look at it Lost ark has different publisher outside of Korea and all of them fail miserably. However, there is only one thing in common and that is Smilegate.

The drop in playerbase will be massive post Brel as content will start to dried faster and many competitors release AAA games and burn out from players. The fundamental progression design of Lost Ark is flaw at its core and won’t last long outside KR market.
Well there is a reason for that
LA is marketed and precived as mmo but if you dont have static its pretty solo-coop experience, even with static which is needed to boost sharing through alts basically i wont say its that much of an mmo.
You cant even trade items in party as gearing is market centered.
Someone could trade you honing mats but it would hinder his progress in return so i dont think its that common practice somehow.
TBH at launch i have played with friends and they had much more playtime than me cause of work & life obligations on my side

In wow i can catch up by doing lower tier content for week or two and thats acceptable for everyone as its usually doable in 3-4 hours each week and you can gear couple new guild members on top of couple alts
dont think so. pretty sure most of them like me arent going to play it anyway no matter the publisher. not everyone likes that assthetic of pure anime style game. ags being the pub just sets that fact in stone lol. they should make gamigo the publisher, that suck too but can keep games going long past their expiration dates lmfao. AGS aint that bad tho, they just aint too good either, like a nice uncle but he wont give u head pats or his credit card to buy RC
I’m I the only one who don’t get the hype around this game? Watched a couple videos about it and it looks like just another generic F2P MMORPG with pretty anime graphics, there’s no catch to it.

Great another freaking game ruined by AGS, they can’t even manage 2 games but are publishing more. Stupid ass Bandai, another game people are looking forward to but gonna get butchered by AGS culture. I wish I didn’t see this thread…really didn’t.
