AGS, you are waiting way too long for the roadmap

Wrong… we need it cause that’s one of the reason this game is appealing. The game is in need of this, cause currently it lacks one of the major aspects of interest.

It’s New World threatment all over again. You can mantra as much as you want this bullshit. However the scenario and the company behind the fails is the game.

Repeat after me: The same company, same mistakes.

How is that pre-determined? They are literally doing the same mistakes.

My god, you are trying to defend them so hard… you want to bond with them that much?

Good for you. If you are fine with the current situation… man, you are lucky and I honestly envy you.

However, do not try to tell us to not complain rightfully, just because you are fine with this.

Let me be a little bit of a douchbag here: I’m glad that you are fine with your lower standards, but that wont go for everyone. We do not want to bond with AGS, we do not need attention from Roxx, because she is our secret crush, we care about only one thing: Quality

“the game is good, you’re mindset is bad” you have to think I’m some kind of an imbecile if you’re actually trying to say this isn’t an invalidation of his opinion because of his mindset.

If you enjoy the game, the last place I expect you to go is somewhere that facilitates extreme criticism and negative attitude towards the game. To the point it just seems you’re pissed off that people are shitting on what you like.

You’re not engaging with the hypothetical. You’re just presenting me with two extremes. “either quit or stfu”. The soup was good, but there was some problems with it. So I’m just gonna raise these problems so they can improve.

You think people came into this game with a doom and gloom mindset? Or was it the shaky history of AGS followed by one controversy after another that have people losing confidence in the future of the game. Trying desperately to provide feedback to correct the course the game because of their love for said game?

So you don’t want the skins or the content?

What do you love about it? Combat? Content? Gear progression? Sound track? Does what you love about the game over shadow what you don’t like about the game? Let’s say 50,000…100,000 in the forum dislike one aspect…but another 100,000 like that aspect. How are you MORE valid than them? You keep telling me to use logic, but somehow I’m not getting to you, that my interest in playing is based solely on logic, where yours is emotional.

And what if the numbers do dip to 30,000 to 50,000? Let’s go back to logic. The game is massively successful in Korea, and will continue to have content developed right? Like if it’s reception fails here, does suddenly impart failure globally…so content will be developed. That’s the difference with this game…it doesn’t need to be successful to just have their patches localized here.

Of course I don’t want the game to fail, but I’m adult enough, if it does I will go play something else. Very few people play games for the entire lifespan of the game. They could do literally everything you’re asking them to do and you still can still just lose interest. So while you think YOUR opinion and the forums opinion is somehow more relevant than anyone else’s opinion really has no bearing. Especially in a game that you could literally have to invest nothing but your time into. And guess what, with the current honing system, once you have done your daily chores…you can just log out, and come back tomorrow.

You literally know nothing about me. Because I’m debating your topic in a forum you can identify my character traits…I mean you could be a really good psychoanalyst or you’re just projecting what you think someone who makes counter arguments would be like.

I’m not a hardcore fan. This game is a hobby to me, and not my only one. If the game shutdown tomorrow it wouldn’t affect me one bit, and guess what, I’ve probably invested a whole lot more than you have. And I don’t even use that to make my points anymore relevant than yours.

Where did I say that? To paraphrase I said I don’t think this game is a failing or a failure based on the timeline content is releasing currently. In fact speed is the biggest enemy of this game right now, releasing content TOO fast. For every person you know that has quit in the dead zone between 1340 and 1370, I’d wager I know 2 more than have quit because the game is overwhelming and things, and pressure to complete content extremely fast has forced them to quit.

You see, I see your concerns, and when worded without anger or insults, I also understand your concerns and desires. The problem is everyone only sees THIER problem and those of people that share similar problems. Anyone one else is…lets see…a White Knight…illogical…Roxx is my secret crush…you see if you come in here and debate anyone’s point they turn into a flaming pitchfork. I think it’s funny…a little sad…but funny primarily. And it all started with a calling someone out on a bad analogy:

Still a bad analogy after all of this lol.

You see? Yo do want skins and more content, you’re one of us! Maybe you should improve your mindset a bit too huh?

You have your criticisms. And I’m going to sympathise with you in your criticisms of the game. I’m not gonna be like “uhh… just be more positive bro, your problems don’t matter, chill vibes only” a bit hyperbolic but you get the point.

If it was only an individual problem, it wouldn’t have such a massive voice. You can pretty easily tell what the general complaints are about the game. And that one dude who is complaining that raids are too hard certainly isn’t one of them. It turned into a pitchfork because directly chalanged the opinions most people hold with incredibly silly argumentation. So of course they are going to be defensive and condescending with their repy.

It’s basically what I said but more extreme lol. Your analogy was worse. Because you tried to say the game was fundamentally different then what they were expecting. But in both of our analogies, we tried to say the game was fundamentally worse then we were expecting.

Again, it’s not a freaking girlfriend/boyfriend…it’s a game and I do not have to live with the very bad parts. As I said: you are not threating this as a game, but you are in a relationship with this and AGS.

This is a service. If they screw up, I do not care… I complain that they have to do it right.

I like the game, but not this. I like the original version. I will like this one AGS will manage to handle it well.

This is not Korea. If the numbers got to 30 - 50k ,that’s a massive fail for this game and company. Eventually for us, because that will make the game not profitable and they wont provide the support as they would if the game would be successful.

How old are you to not even know this? You wont support a game which barelly makes a profit, you wont put effort into it and you will minimalize your spending on it, if it’s not that worthy.

If the game has massive playerbase, you will invest money into that business.

Imagine that you do not even know that and you had to ask me.

You are clearly not…

Exactly… instead of complains and trying to make it better, you will just move on.

See? We are the ones you are depending on. You would just move on while we do something to make this better.

You are not making counter arguments. In fact you do not even understand half of the things we say. You can’t argue with me or with anyone here it seems cause you can’t even connect the dots.

I could try to explain it to you , like I did before, but that wont change anything cause you are just unable to understand it.

I fail to understand how he can not connect the dots and finally come to the conclusion that people who complain actually care.

The best part is him wanting everything we are advocating for.

I mean sure who doesn’t. But then you’re making the presumption I care when or in what order. What if I’m content with one class every 3 months? I mean sure if they came faster, great, but is there a cost. I mean I know as a full time employee there are only 24 hours in a day and I don’t expect Devs to have zero work life balance. This is where the argument springs up, but it’s already there! Ok, I don’t know if it’s as easy as just flipped my a switch. I’m sure one of you are “insert cool computer job here”, and will tell me it is. There are SOOO many things I want more than classes and skins. I want to be able to alter my UI and patty frames, I want front and back markers for mobs, I want to be able to wear two of the same kind of earring/ring. I wish guardians/Argos had health bars. I wish mayhem up showed full so it didn’t throw me off. But you guys might not want these same things first, so am I wrong for wanting them? Do you expect them to meet EVERYONEs desires? Tomorrow?

First don’t be petty with age related digs. It actually makes you look immature. Second, the game will be profitable with 50,000 users in the west, because again content is being developed even if it wasn’t. The only thing they have to pay for is localization. You get that right. Content is being developed no matter what in RU/KR/JP…it simply has to be localized which is a whole lot cheaper than developing. The by product might be slower content releases to us…

That’s great, maybe you should complain on the forums about it. Maybe other people will agree with you and it’ll be a big thing everyone wants like skins and T3 content. Hopefully no one comes in and tries to improve your mindset though.

I think I’ve argued enough. You just latched onto the meme point at the start and ignored everything else. Take care and worsen your mindset a bit.

:clinking_glasses: Cheers!

That’s not how it works.

You are so wrong … my god… they have to pay for the staff for the game. They have to pay for marketing, they have to pay for keeping it up and so on…

How comes that you do not even know the basics?

These are basic things and you do not even know this and which is worse, you couldn’t even think about it yourself before stating that big bullshit.

You clearly know nothing about business…as you can look above.

Also… for example: Heroes of the Storm is still somehow profitable, but updates are not coming anymore, or when they come, they are lackluster.

That’s what happens when a game is not a good business anymore. Sure, it can stay alive but that will be only a shadow.

Stop making me lose the last bit of expectations I had… :grimacing:

Butttt can you play that shadow? I’m not sure if you just need validation you’re playing a successful game because it had a robust player base. Good thing raids need less than 20 people amirite

It doesn’t take skill to hone

Ur bad for giving that answer when RNG is involved

Ty for deciding what i need like AGS
