So, I get to the island. There is no option to change channel. Me and 1 other person are killing the 3 chicken bosses. Guy leaves, so I am left to solo the last Chicken, the Gold boss. I soloed him down to 9 and the boss disappears. I was doing pretty good, until he vanished on me.
With so few people doing this event, maybe they could give a way to fast travel to events, other than Bifrost. This was at about 11 in-game time.
