Alakkir stealth nerf - this is not the way

I noticed that Alakkir no longer gives nearly as many gold feathers, in fact it’s 0 or close to it. I just did the island and got like 4 blue feathers and a green. I asked people in game and they all said that Alakkir is no longer worth doing.

This got people one purple rapport item per day and you had to do it at least once and usually twice, and now it’s almost impossible.

So two questions:

  1. Why is one purple item per day for taking the time to camp 2 island spawns a problem?
  2. What is the deal with the constant stealth nerfs?

As an ex-new world player, stealth nerfs was a very serious reason I and many others quit the game. I am VERY worried that this game is going to be more of the same.

Can someone please shine some light on why this nerf was necessary and why it was felt it was unnecessary to be transparent with the community?

havent been to alakkir since I got the token but the eggs around used to give a good amount of gold feathers. I’ll go to the next alakkir and confirm if they are also nerfed.

I’m confused as to what the nerf was, I just did Alakkir earlier today, got 5 golden feathers (the ones to exchange for torso sculpture). I’m pretty sure it has to do with participation?

Actually participate and you’ll get full rewards.

I assure you I was hitting the bosses the entire time they were up. Maybe the problem is there’s people with huge gear scores, and so people with 300-400 gs simply can’t do enough damage to get credit for the bosses now?

If that’s the case, then that sounds more like a bug where participation needs to take into account gear score? Or else people with 1300+ GS farming 250 islands need to be scaled down, because it’s not fair for people who do an honest attempt at appropriate content to get no rewards.

Alakkir is scaled down or the bosses would die as soon as their protection expires.

As stated, I have a ~400 GS berserker and I hit the bosses as long as they were up and I got no gold feathers, 4 blue feathers, and 1 green. You insisting there is food does not remedy the fact that I in fact have no food.

okay… did you join a party with others?

Just did Alakkir today with no food buff and no party. Got 5 feathers just fine.

I did this earlier and got 4 gold feathers. Wish the game would stop giving me gold and actually grant me the feather for the token. Attempt number 50 something tomorrow…

The island is normalized I had 11k health in 1300+ ilvl doing a fraction of the damage I was supposed to and got 4 feathers on my first run literally 10 minutes ago before the servers went down. The island works fine

There was a nerf? When?

I did Alakkir on Sunday it was fine, got 3 Golden Chicking Feathers iirc

I just did it and got 5 gold feathers

Just another I did an event once and asked 4 people and we all came to the conclusion “x” thread. No evidence of a nerf at all.
