I am also experiencing this issue, one of my guildmates started experiencing it a few days after maintenance as well.

Just a +1 that I’ve had this issue after last patch as well. Have the setting enabled to notify 15min before events but at most I get a notification at 0minutes (when its too late) or not at all.
Hope this gets fixed quick as I keep missing out on islands and stuff unless i set up an alarm out of game.

I’m noticing this too. On top of that, there’s one alarm I had off but have since tried turning it back on. It lets me right click and choose to turn it on and if I right click again the option is to turn the alarm off again, but no amount of turning it on, saving it, closing out, re-opening, verifying files, or anything, will actually get that alarm to turn on. It stays grayed out as if it is off and does not show in the pop out list even if I know it’s up in the next 20 min.
I’d previously tried the OP’s work around and it didn’t do anything for me.

sadly the event starttimes just change and i am not use to it, notification would help alot

Alarms still not working.
ATTENTION TO EVERYONE WHO POSTED HERE FOR THIS ““ERROR””
As you can see in the first pic of the post, at the bottom of it, there are a check box marked that says “You will no longer receive notification when receiving rewards”. If you have this option marked, you are never receiving notifications for the events even if you settled the alarm so, just unmark this option and you will receive notifications again
maybe a workaround but not the solution. when i am done with the daily island / chaos aso on this day i dont want another popup and the checkbox is for this…
