I can live with the peon cost on everything but sending items between your alts costing Pheons is just the most greedy thing i have seen.
Removing this would open up for an actual alt friendly game, whats the point of having this cost? What mmo do you have to pay large sums of money to transfer to an alt.
It would open up for much more diverse builds on peoples alts, probably decrease the price of blue crystals a tiny bit also.

do you want the accessories / tripods to lose trades though everytime you transfer them over or stay on the same amount?
Yes i think that would be the best workaround, still loose 1 out of the 3 tradable so you cant have 10 Sorcs with the same gear you just move around. But remove the pheon cost.
For example: I find a stone on my Sorc i can use on my GS, i can send it free to him without having to spend pheons. Now what is the point? Might aswell sell it and buy it back on your GS, same story.
If they are so greedy they want more money this is just gate keeping hard farming players, make more skins or other buyable content they can earn cash on.
yea im in the same boat then, i agree the pheons are completely unnecessary if they just keep trades decreasing when switching the gear between alts
Like now i find an item on my Sorc i can use on my paladin, its not meta build, but i can use it. But having to spend 25 pheons sending an item that isent meta, would be a waste pretty much, so instead i just dismantle that item.
If they removed pheon cost, i could send that 1 item to my pala, make a free build that would still be good, not meta but still good.
The game would open up much for diverse builds, making it actual fun to gear up your alts and not a grinding nightmare for gold, turn into pheons, hope you get that 7/7 stoine before you spend 50k gold on pheons alone or more
I completely agree and wish this was more spoken about. There is absolutely no reason at all that it should cost us pheon to move accessories between our own characters. I agree it’s extremely greedy of SG/AGS who tf ever allows this to exist.
If sending alts to your alts didnt cost pheons, it would be the worst thing for the game.
Then everyone would play just one class, as that would be far too more efficient than anything else.
Just like me. I have 5 zerks. With no pheons between alts, why would i ever have to buy anything from market ? And i also wouldnt supply anything to market. I would have solo self found ecosystem.
So yeah, its not greedy, its a must. Think , think.
That’s a great point that ive rarely seen others bring up, the market would basically stagnate even more if there was no pheon cost for accessory transfers, while pheons suck as a whole they do work in this instance.
How are you gonna do that if accessories can only be traded 3 times?

Yeah, and it would be meta to play just one class.
Even now as it is, its very strong. So, i have 5 zerks and 1 pal ( who cares about suppport anyway).
That means i can only focus on runes for zerk, cards for zerk, engravings for zerk. I can be lazy and dont need to think of any builds for various characters
And the best and most impactful thing of all : Gems.
My alt zerkers have no gems. Instead, whenever i switch to another character, i trade gems through roster storage. And having lvl 8-9 gems is quite a massive benefit. Imagine having lvl 10 gems, that would be insane
Pheons apply to same account trades to keep the economy moving. Sell them and buy something better for your alts. Or pay the pheon fee. Don’t be a hoarder or rat.
you already do all of those things, nothing would change for accessories which is the entire point of the suggestion here, or tripods since they also disappear after transfer post tripod-patch, the accessories would have 3 trades maximum and you would use them up before you even reach your last zerker in one week and afterwards they are permanently stuck on that one, it wouldnt make playing singular class rosters any different from how they are now
The notion that we need Pheons for trades between characters because otherwise everyone would play 6 of the same class is not rational.
Some people might do that. Some do now. The majority of people don’t though. People don’t play that optimally in general. Poll the playerbase on how many are getting all their daily and weekly clears done on 6 characters. Because that’s optimal. It’s not what most people actually do though.
Most people would probably still play a variety of classes because that’s fun and people like doing that. If you want the advantage of being able to constantly swap gear across the same 6 characters, then enjoy that tedium. The rest of us will enjoy the class variety.
I agree it’s not alt friendly in that regard. But it shouldn’t be that you get all aspects of your alts for free. Pheon cost on accessories are fine imho. Here are some things that are very alt friendly in the game:
It’s really not that bad if you think about it. The only real issue is ability stones. You can work around that though. Just spend the gold on engraving books instead of BC/Pheons then you can build a sold 4* 3+2 or 5* 3 setup with a 5/7 stone or similar. And engraving books will stay with you forever.
