i like it as well, long term it will probably remain the most interesting raid so far, thanks for the crazy overlapping mechs in g3. on the other hand with my static it went already very smoothly on the third week while it was really hard tp find a good team in pugs with my alt. guess the poopers did not realize it yet how to approach this raid - first clear took ages fpr me as well and some of it felt like complete bs
Nope I am loving this raid too. My friends with who I raid too. No worries this forum is infested by 1% of the players that only come here to flame
Personally, I like the raid and the initial challenge it provided, but it’s starting to become homework just like valtan and vykas lol. However, I think some things that we may take for granted or make us have this “bias” like for the raid may either becomes we are overgeared for it, in a static, or just skilled in the sense easy to pick up things and learn how to do the raid
The only thing that I could compromise for would be the saws to do 50% - 75% health bar dmg than 1 hit k.o might help the majority of players
No, I like Kakul the most, Vykas g2 is most cancerous thing ever, Kakul is so fun, especially g3.
Once you figure the raid out g3 is fairly simple and straightforward.
Kakul Saydon is really fun raid. You need to practice his attack pattern and all iron maiden has their safe path to complete them
Look man, if you are running sub 250 ping then there’s really no excuse, there’s always a way to adapt and time things differently. Brel isn’t going to be any easier with high ping. Ontop of that if your ping is so extreme that it alone is what causes you to fail to complete clown then you won’t complete Brel either and likely will just be unable to play or you are playing on the wrong server. My group has several east coasters and they play with 90-150ping they have zero issues.
I have a grand total of 0 friends who play Lost Ark. Thank god I don’t play alts, I can hardly find 1 competent party for each raid every week ![]()
How would you have them adapt the fight for higher ping, while still maintaining the same difficulty for those with a sub 50ms? There are players who played RU that cleared clown from NA/EU. If I remember correctly my ping was 190 on RU.
Raid is fine as is but there’s ONE problem and this problem has nothing to do with actual raid
Legit players decreasing caused trashy experience as a whole not limiting just to clown raid. It’s hard to find a decent person for clown raid since most of the decent ones are in static, and as for me who cannot have steady gaming schedule due to being freelancer cannot join static and have to do those in PUG.
Nowadays its hard to find reclear or even decent valtan/vykas group that aren’t carrys, “carrying a friend”, and straight up carry me plz guys.
Honestly it feels like population of PUG consists of 50% leftover guys who straight up suck 30% new and learning guys 10% trolls and 10% like me with non steady schedules now that the population has dropped dramatically (statistically it’s the same due to bots but in reality real human players decreased and you would know if you actually play the game)
And this is why alot of players with higher ping are quitting now. But Brelshasa actually has LESS moving objects that cause 1 shots than the clown. It’s not like we are talking about the hammers in the chest game are problems m8. ![]()
Nowhere did I say I had 250ms. I have cleared the fight multiple times but it will never be an enjoyable encounter having to take into account that 1 shots moving objects are about 1 meter closer than they actually look on screen. Then add my character moving and you have another meter.
You are actually asking for something that is totally impossible. The difficulty of any online content is ALWAYS controlled by Ping. The average ping in NA/US is higher than the average ping in Korea so the content should be adjusted. This has to do with moving objects that can cause 1 shot. It will always be easier with lower MS. This can be adjusted by making the hitboxes smaller and also slowing down the movements of the objects. Another option is to example change 1 shot mechanics on blades into 50% loss in HP. This will not affect the difficulty of Marios as much since it can be practiced before and players get used to it. It does not affect the chess game at all since it has zero 1 shot mechanics other than the hammers that have about 2 sec of reaction time.
And It’s no coincidence that a big portion of the players that played from EU/NA quit playing on Russian servers when Clown was released. Because it was not an enjoyable encounter with high ping. ![]()
So I’m just gonna ask since you keep mentioning high ping and the average ping in the US/NA being higher then Korea… What is your average ping? Because I’m playing on my region’s servers and have some of the best ping in any game I play online.
Normal ping is about 80ms shown on screen for me. Actual ping test and traceroute test shows much more fluctuation when pinging the servers through command prompt. Around 100-135ms. So the ingame numbers are not always accurate to the actual MS.

from where are you playing in what region? speaking for NAE(which i believe server location is virginia) playing from Massachusetts area, i get steady 30 ping normally, 21 on good days and 50 on bad days
Playing from Norway on EU Central. Servers located in Germany. Europe west servers are in Ireland.
Damn, I never had experienced issue with servers in EU, but it sure does seem harsh.
That happens when you misread the mayhem bar and are like 1 pixel shy of clown… which I might’ve done once or twice when in a hurry.
I have a solution for you dear friend, just by my bus ![]()
tbh, stop blame and git gud. So many player from different regions even play without getting killed by ping too often. I play from sweden and maybe 1/7 runs i get fucked by the bad servers or ping.
As a person who plays the game solo, I have to agree 100%. I remember buying a Vykas bus just so I can get to play it with decent players. The only lobbies worth anything seem to be title lobbies which are impossible to join if you play only 1-2 chars.
The party finder experience is truly some cancer.
