So the topic is clear,
New World had issues, Amazon was the developer, game is a bust… the numbers speak for itself.

Lost Ark , Amazon is the publisher, everything was already said, sales numbers, planning were comunities were going to which sever, etc etc etc… all of this, early access clearly showed SEVERE QUEUE time issues.

HOW ON EARTH some one thinks of the idea of doing a MAINTENANCE hours prior to a game lauch ? worst… WHO LISTENED AND AGREED TO GO ON WITH IT ???

wouldn’t it be MUCH MUCH benefic to ALL !!! to only do this maintenance on monday ? let players enjoy the game with the LITTLE LITTLE issues that you found, it would give time for the F2P players to take a peek at the game, understand if they like or not… several would not return .,… people would play happily the game would be a SUPER LAUCH with BIG BIG BIG NUMBERS and one to be remembered for THE GOOD REASONS… now you have F’ed up …

i will NEVER EVER play any amazon related game ! like what happened in EA with Anthem… FLOP,

what do you say my fellow players ???

I feel sorry for SmileGate. They prolly signed the contract for a couple of years, before they got to see what a dumpster fire NW happened to be. And now they are stuck with AGS. Possibly the most incompetent company I’ve seen in recent years.

Our best hopes are that the contract gets dissolved and a new capable publisher takes over lmao.

Amazon’s reputation as a game developer and publisher is already scraping the bottom of the barrel.

There’s nothing to lose tbh, they were commonly perceived as a bad developer and publisher before this situation. Not trying to be a jerk at all, this is the honest truth.

Everything is marketing, it gives the impression that it is something massive and uncontrolled that the world is in a hurry to play a game that has nothing revoutioar just a community of influencers who make money on plebeians, nothing out of the ordinary :slight_smile: :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: :monkey:

final fantasy xiv just had a shit show of their own not that long ago at all and they, with time, eventually got everything out to us and it’s thriving. this happens with literally every single even mildly popular game, shut up.

But the reputation of Amazon? 99.99999999999999999999999999% of Amazon users will not be aware of the fact that New World and Lost Ark exist.

the problem is Lost Ark is fine, its a good game and solid… its the servers thats the issue, the one part thats Amazon’s fault

Maybe if AGS wasn’t trying to tie every thing to Amazon Prime and Twitch and god knows what else, we’d not have all these connection issues…

Disconnect Prime and Twitch and all other Amazon service extensions, and watch it run flawlessly.
