Answer Regarding Guardian Raid and Abyss Dungeon Difficulty

First of all, it’s an spammeable content that you MUST do every single day for progression.

Second, in KR and Rusia the Guardian Raids have 50% less hp than EU and NA, so stop crying about reverts.

Korean streammers said like: if you have to do GR with 10 characters a day, and u spend between 13 and 15 min for each, THIS CONTENT will start to be a hard work task, and not an anjoyment for no one.

Third, when u first time ever the GR with ur main, the experience was good enough, i had few wipes on Tytalos, few on Achates, till u see the mechs for first time, OK. Then why i have to wipe 20 times for each of them when i go with random people from the auto queue? It makes no sense bro.

Fourth, about alts. When u have to repeat some GR with ur alt, is WAY better to call a friend that is on tier 3 to give u a free carry than using the queue. You may ask why? Cause there are people with the alts that are going on the bosses with:
No engravings
No pots (not even 30%)
Not optimized gear
No clue about mech cause they maybe faceroll the boss overgeared once and that’s it

And you want this farmeable content to be a hard work for every day?

Can you see if people are using items, engravings etc? Not being funny but I have been in so many groups when none of them are being used! The game isn’t hard by no means and that’s what’s making it really fun! Look at how WoW went when nerfing content! It’s crap and boring!

guys… why all these cries? We’re talking about “trash”-content - at t3 it begins for real (and no matter what u say - it the fact)

The little few weeks in each tier (with an alt) you want to spend as less time as possible to finish each tier - and for newcomers, tier 1-2 is just a training-road to t3 anyway to see most of possible mechanics (and these will stay in game, just not hitting as hard as it is now maybe)

It’s 100% fine to tweak down a little bit T1 & T2 content because we have T3 content that is challeging. Please, stop making noise for nothing

There is plenty of other content for those people. Most of the game is decently easy for casual players. Not everyone has to clear the hardest content in the game, for the game to be viable. On the contrary it is inspiring that you know there is still content for you to do when you improve and get better at the game.

You know what else will make people move on from the game. Too easy content. Because there is nothing more boring than facerolling through content with no challenge to actually look forward too. The Abyssals are hard by design. This is the challenge you look forward to and when you succeed you get an amazing rush through your whole body, because you know you earned that win.

It’s a slippery slope. We are 3 weeks in. How can anyone tell if the content needs to be tweaked by now. People are still learning their class and the basics of the game. Of course people have a hard time.

what does that have anything to do with what I said? Any other versions price don’t matter because guess what? They can buy green HP pots off auction unlike our version where new players cant.

I simply stated experienced players who had early access got the game early when prices were cheap at 88 gold per 95 crystals and then buying tons of mari shop hp pots so they had it EASY and don’t need to worry about HP pots for awhile.

F2P players dont have it easy because if they started after or started recently now, the prices aren’t helping them to get HP pots off mari to practice runs and they have to manually use their work labor to slowly get Hp pots that should be sold on auction like in the other versions.

So a new player with min access to HP pots for runs get hit hard in raids and boss runs learning the game normally not looking at guides will be frustrated and quit cause no more pots to keep trying. Thats it, that’s the main issue why IMO completion rate is at 10% because people quit since they have no more HP pots to do the runs. OR repair pets to recover durability inside abyss raids. They need to tweak and change this.

If you try to satisfy all of your player base you will satisfy none of them. This people will quit anyway, it’s a bad choice on your side.

So hang on if its getting nerfed because players cant do tier 1 and 2 how are they meant to cope in tier 3?
are you going to nerf all that content as soon as they reach that as well?
Me and a friend run the abyssal dungeons. tell people what the boss does and how to do said boss. they agree they know what there doing and then wipe the raid… the sword boss is a prime example for this… don’t ask me there names because i have no idea xD
Even telling someone not to pick up the sword and just run away from it they still pick it up. Its not a fact of people are finding the content to hard its just most people are stupid. Sorry but its true.

The problem is not about nerfing content, the problem is matchmaking.
In guardians raids, players are not using potions but instead consume team resurrection (they cost nothing… 2+2?). They are not reading any kind of guides, I saw people in Achates fight keep trying to throw yellow tokens against a blue barrier even when everyone else was showing them what to do.
Add a player kick or feedback to matchmaking.

This is so sad, this game only had the hard bosses in Guardian Raid and Abyss and they are nerfing em as well, nice no more content, no more intense fights. Congratulations u made another chaos dungeons. I don’t know man i am really afraid that people will quit this game.

You will lose all of your player base doing that, this part of the game is just not for casual players. They can do a lot of things other than this content. What’s left for “hardcore” gamers if you nerf endgame content?

Anyone against these changes needs to take a serious step back and re-evaluate their own gameplay experience.

It has been stated multiple times that no one says the Guardian Raids are actually hard, but they ARE long, frustrating and pointless given the rewards they give out.

Guardians are complete sponges right now, and they’re meant to be “dailies” not full time content.

While the definition of FUN will vary for each of us - there’s hard content untouched, and unlikely to be touched.

But consider this.

In this very thread, there are people saying that people should quit if they can’t beat guardian raids as they are - that people should read guides, watch videos or just play something else.

What kind of message does this send to the community ? I am certain the people saying this are the first to leave a raid after 1 wipe. Calling everyone noobs without even bothering to explain anything.

The community is being filled with elitist jerks all around, when we should be welcoming this change.

The guardians been rebalanced are entry level content, which means more people will do them, leading to a higher retention rate of players. In turn, this makes the game healthier, thanks to a larger player pool and more revenue for the company.

It’s a win win. The only loss is the people that are complaining EGO’s.

These changes ( we don’t even know exactly what they will be. ) are a step in the right direction. It will make the game healthier and more approachable.

All successful MMO’s realized they earn more by having more approachable content, than straight up hardcore.

I’ts mind boggling that so many people are against this, as if it diminishes their own personal achievements, or maybe because they wiped like hell on Vertus/Achates, they feel like everyone else should feel the same pain. Why ?

If you’re a hardcore tryhard player, you’re probably T3 by now or close to it. that content wasn’t nerfed. that content is still there for you to be challenged with.

If you’re T2/T3 and you’re complaining about T1/Early T2 bosses, what’s wrong with you? In what world are you doing that content to even matter?

But for those climbing up the ladder, it WILL matter. It WILL allow them to progress.

My guild is very active - with 20-30 people online at any hour of the day, even during the night. And NONE of us care about guardian raids, unless it’s to help someone 1st time clear. We ALL skip it as much as possible.

And I know this is a smallish drop in the bucket sample - but NO ONE i teamed up with for guardians through MM ever said " I LOVE THESE FIGHTS". NO . ONE.

Quite the opposite. Everyone was there against their will, just because they had to.

How is that FUN? How is that REWARDING, in any capacity ?

Most people against this probably did this content with higher ilevel than requirements - or a stacked team - good for you. You overgeared the content, and you’re too much of a coward to admit it

T3 players should just be quiet and enjoy their content. Congrats, there’s your ego boost and pride - you made it faster than everyone else.

The game already has a lot of flaws, this had to happen if it was to even have a chance of success.

I totally agree with you, i have never been a hardcore gamer or smthing called like that, and i was able to do all guardian and abyss dungeons pretty easily on second run or smthing, that’s what makes game a bit interesting and they took it aswell, nice now we only have gear upgrade and thats it, no more content.

I am so angry at them for doing that.
I was FINALLY happy to play a challenging MMO, which really got me with its content.
And now it goes the WoW route to just super-casualize everything.

Haven’t they seen what this caused in other MMOs?

I mean, I get that a couple of Guardian raids could be adjusted a little bit.
This was an ongoing discussion here for quite a while now, as they buffed guardians HP and quite some people found that this was annoying.
I thought they felt great and challenging, but I can understand that, especially since it was only the HP and they were daily tasks.

But nerfing the Abyss Dungeons?!
This is real end game content they nerfed here. Endgame content that felt TOTALLY FINE.
I did them a couple of times with PUGs, without any problem.
Why?!

I would prefer to change the accesability to the abyssdungeons. If we could do the dungeon more than one time per week but without getting loot or get reduced loot we could help our guild mates to complete it. We just have the problem that everytime we do a dungeon, 1 or 2 players get no mates because all other has already finished it already for that week!

If you can foresee 50% of players leave, then surely that would suggest something needs to change, no?
