Any compensation gifts for the delays?

Sadly not everywhere. For example you order Anime Figures in JP and they have delay you dont get smth extra.

Basically you could say AGS is also the “carrier” since SG is giving them that they give us. So the issue in the Patch came from SG and now need to be fixed by SG and AGS together.

This is the most expensive “free game” I have ever played. :rofl:

Yes, given it was a issue on the build of the game itself, mistake on SMG the provider, so compensation is normal.

I player in the Past also an KR MMO and we never got any compensations from them if Patches had issues. So thats why my hopes are at zero to get anything and i dont expect some.

Yeah, but in this game the company is known to give compensations even for minor inconviniences, so its normal people expect.

Hello…Your internet service will and does compensate you for lost time with no internet especially if you are paying out the butt for the fastest internet, business service, etc. No internet = lost time / lost money / lost income.

Sucks that people today have this mentality of “your acting entitled” “it’s good enough” “could be worse” “stop complaining”… I wonder what it is like to live without any expectations of yourself or others to be their best at anything or at least average and to be complacent or comfortable with being handed shit on a platter. The bright side I guess is you will never feel disappointed in anyone or anything :thinking:

i will agree for paying players that compensation should be added, but for f2p players, they should not expect compensation.

Yeah, I don’t believe its a fair comparison rather just responding to the posters analogy. I have no skin in the game here and don’t care. Recently, however, I am irritated by the white knighting though…it’s a little disheartening to see how many people are ok with mediocrity in general here.

Example, Roxx posts that problems occurred ‘after working hours’. Imagine me (director of ops / former IT integration Manager) implementing a patch to the business and IT just going offline ‘after hours’ on a implementation patch. 1) generally IT has 1 DBA on call that watches everything afterhours to make sure nothing is wrong everyday and 2) patches require a team to be online throughout the night ensuring the patch is good to go. Project Manager there as well on call at least. Imagine going to your job the next day with 70+ service regions and saying ‘oh sorry you can’t work this morning we did a patch that had some issues after working hours’. I know it’s a game but this is their business and they generate revenue off of their business.

It has nothing to do with the issues at hand I actually used to love game delays for the forum cat memes (but unfortunately no threads here) but it’s the mentality of below par performance is ok and that having expectation’s in terms of comp or anything is outlandish. Sounds like I need to stay off this forum this week LOL. :joy: :rofl:

If i fail and underperformed on every piece i work i did id have no job, let alone be in the position to give out compensation. Only in the gaming industry…

agree 100% that roxx’s comment about working hours is a horrible thing to admit on the internet. in todays world where working hours is 24/7, it views roxx as a “priviledged” person making that comment.

horrible PR move. also whoever is working behind the scenes and whoever is the community manager need to have cell phones with texting, if an “uh oh” happens, the CM gets a text message even during sleeping hours and can log onto the forums to update the customers about the issues.

if you have 100k-1mil customers which are being ignored because of 1 person sleeping, that is an issue. now in roxx’s job duties maybe everything is being done by the books? then the problem is whoever roxx’s supervisor / boss is.

For a couple of hours of extended maintenance compensation seemed stupid, but now we have waited an actual full day already.
